Remember, with the exclusion of Gen 1 as Kanto has been reused in more than just it’s remakes, the usual formula for a remake is that it releases in the generation that is x2 of it’s original gen, so gen 2 got remade in gen 4 which is x2 it’s original number, then gen 3 got remade in gen 6, also x2 the number. So if GameFreak stick to said formula gen 4 WILL be remade during gen 8 and gen 5 will be remade in gen 10 etc.

I would have loved if Mars had a clefairy sense there was a galactic grunt who got his clefairy taken away in the valley windworks and it would have been cool to see that she was the one who took it from the grunt.
