Italia, popolo di poeti, santi e Casanova. Il 1° Aprile 1989, alla trasmissione "Odiens" di Canale 5, venne infatti annunciato un ospite speciale: niente di meno che il Re del Pop, Michael Jackson. Ma ai fan più attenti bastarono pochi attimi per rendersi conto che, per quanto somigliante, quel personaggio fosse ben lontano dalla star che soltanto l'anno precedente aveva riempito gli stadi di Roma e Torino col suo "Bad World Tour".
Si scoprì, poi, che a rispondere alle domande della bella conduttrice Lorella Cuccarini non era stato Michael ma uno dei suoi sosia più famosi: E. Casanova. Nonostante ciò, la trasmissione non chiarì mai la questione, forte degli applausi scroscianti che il finto Jackson ricevette da parte del pubblico in sala.
Che sia stato semplicemente un (pessimo) Pesce d'Aprile?

@@Phillyhippie215 It's hard for me to understand your English. Casanova was rumored to be in "Who's This" in the scenes in the helicopter; rehearsals from "black or white" you can understand that he was there. But I don't know more. I would also like to know if he was on tour
he moves more jaggity then michael, its hard to explain he can dance but he jitters differently Michael did
Yeah he does his move faster then mj does. Mj is slower but smoother and fluid and it looks way better than how Casanova is just doing rapid fire movement

Michael is faster n organized calm n composed. He has the most natural flow like it circulates in his entire body as well as his figure n everything's in rhythm with each other. Other people r not anywhere close to him. Same goes for him. They are all about moves but there's no rhythm. But still good impersonator.

Not really this was the 80s so the internet wasn’t around and the only time you would see him was through grainy TVs rarely or on a magazine. Plus he looks exactly like him during the bad era

You'd think the host would know tho since she's right up close to him but like I said before, they would be easily fooled because back then there wasn't a lot of photos and wasn't any easily accessible video to really see a lot of him to be able to distinguish between him and an impersonator. If this title wasn't on the video I'd still be able to tell straight away when someone is Michael or not, I know him like the back of my hand just from growing up my whole life being obsessed with him lol I've seen every photo and every bit of footage of him so I automatically know if someone is him or not but I never knew Mike got E.
