Idk if I had to guess it's because it's not so appealing on the surface. I've been listening to them for a long time and this song just hit me the right way about a week ago. But that's how my journey with them has been lol. This one has an epic grandiose sound if you really pay attention to it. Could also be because they've apparently never played it live. Less exposure to this song.
@@stupidmonkey151 I dont know why but this song is the highlight of the album for me, although it was also how animals as leaders was introduced to me. Weird.
@@sierra715I know what you mean. For me this song really fires on all cylinders. Its fast, catchy, rhythmic, melodic, lots of changes & techniques at work, long crazy solo & it just rips for 6 mins straight. I really wish they'd play it live at least once!
On Impulse and Inamorata are my favs. But Inamorata is true modern music composition, like compositions of Mozart, Beethoven etc. Balance, timing, harmony, mixed together is in Inamorata fantastic.
Sitting here blasting this track and wondering why no one talks about how beautiful it is, probably one of the best on the album and that says a lot . Then I read the comment section and everyone is wondering how this track goes unnoticed. Anyway. What a masterpiece.
My favorite AAL song by far! It's like the Terminator Vs the Matrix. Odessa and Isolate Incidents not far behind! Why don't they ever do this song live?
So glad these comments are like this! Just came from listening to Gorod. "Obsequium Minaris" reminded me of this gem, definitely go check out that song if you like this one! I wonder if there some kind of genre for this kind of thing. I'm pinning it down to maybe metric modulations, and frequent section changes. Is that a genre, other than just being technical? Check out Archspire "The Lucid Collective" as well!
I love this comment section just because it shows how a lot of people also refused to let this master piece go completely unnoticed.
Wow!! Why don’t people talk about this one? The harmonies, timing, and just everything is deserving of recognition.

Raúl Pérez they’re a guy on UA-cam that covered this tune note for note...
I think Garstka's Iron Cobra pedals doesn't give him do 180 bpm so long

That outro is fucking killer

Yes! The entire song is fire and sends electricity to my whole body, but that outro.. Holy shit.
Probably the best AAL song from the best AAL album.
Drums on this song are SO GOOD
Crypto Authority this song is SO GOOD
You might be surprised to know that these are actually MIDI drums from the software "Superior Drummer".
I cant believe I haven't heard this song before.. this song is so cool!
2:07 is w/o question my favourite progression in any of their songs ever
I Saw this practice on his Instagram.. but i didn't know That Its already album. Woo!. soo good for brain
What is that after 0:32?... A tiny production glitch that slipped through?...
Or done on purpose?
They meant to do that!
It sounds awesome!

Can anyone find footage of Animals as Leaders playing this song live? Ive searched everywhere & only found a short riff tutorial.
I'm trying to find it to
This song is beyond fucking ridiculous
Tosin is from another Universe 💯💯💯💯
I wish they would play this live. Would be a rewarding experience. Not to mention more recent mix with his new guitar and real drummer
One of my all time favorites. Have hit some big deadlifts to the drop around a minute in.
Prob replayed the outro like 50 different times.

It's like the Goldeneye soundtrack tried to ease it's way in there
I'm glad other people are seeing this.
probably their best track ever
AAL best song ever
Anyone know if they play this song live in concert, i can't find any videos on youtube of AAL performing this
Alex Ossa don't think they do m8
Been looking for years, but still no luck... I think it's too much of a workout for them to do live.
Me too mate, I think this song is just too difficult to play live, dunno, shame tho, I'd fucking love to watch it
it’s probably the part around 4:00 because that part will blow your forearm out with the tremolos lol
Una obra maestra.
3:04 on sounds like an FFX boss battle.
inamorata 🌹❤🔥
Animals as Leaders can be summed up as chocolate man ejaculates caramel. Very tasty and nice!
