Something seems off. Safari is a beast in sports mode, xuv might be a little faster but not this much difference is visible, test drove both and finally went for safari because of better ride quality, dynamics, more suv feeling, moreover in driving safari feels no less than xuv700, you could drive and try for yourself how closely matched both cars are in acceleration plus safari does not have nosedive in high speed breaking whereas xuv does move at high speed breaking and feels less connected to the road in comparison to safari
