    Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting…
A very cool guitar. A well played and all original 1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in Red Wine with the awesome Gibson Mini Humbuckers and the original case. The only thing not original is the input jack surround. The original had cracked, see pic 17. It is in the accessory box of the case for the new owner to have. Check it out. This guitar is awesome!
This Les Paul Deluxe has a history here in Des Moines. It was used and loved by a Pro Player that migrated to Austin where he continued to play this guitar in countless Blues Gigs. As you can see from the wear on the back of the neck, it was used a lot but well taken care of. It looks to have been refretted, I'm sure it needed it. It has numerous dings and scratches to the finish but no cracks or breaks. The finish could use a good refresh but we'll leave that up to the new owner. We didn't want to take any patina off of this really cool guitar!
The serial number dates it to 1975. We also got 1975 date codes from the pots. Everything is still original under the hood. See pics 15 and 16.
Here’s some info on the Les Paul Deluxe Guitars…
Starting in 1969, Gibson's main production Les Paul was dubbed the Les Paul Deluxe. The Les Paul Deluxe differed from the original Standard in its use of mini-humbuckers instead of PAFs, and its use of the four-ply "pancake" body style. The Les Paul Standard was not actually brought back to the Gibson catalog until 1976.
I have used all of Gibson’s pickup selections. The Humbuckers, P90’s and the mini humbuckers. I have to say, I really love the mini humbuckers. They are super toneful and very powerful. I am sold on these cool pickups now! These are the original Gibson Patent Number Pickups. See pics 7 and 8.
The guitar is a Les Paul thru and thru with the exception of the mini humbuckers. Awesome 24 ½ inch scale neck with a standard 1 11/16 inch nut. The neck has a nice medium C profile and feels great in the hand. The guitar weighs in at 10 lbs exactly. Not the heaviest Les Paul we have had.
Check out the original Hard Shell case! As nice as the guitar. All latches, hinges, accessory box and handle are still with it. Awesome case and it's original to the guitar!
Vintage and used so it's sold no returns as is. Thanks for respecting that
