Our Subscriber wanted my to paint the outside of the front door Black! I was worried it would be to obnoxious boy was I wrong! I love the way it looks, thank you subscribers for helping us make design decisions.
We are Steve & Steph (StevenSteph™)! We can't be boxed in by labeling what this channel "is"! It's like Seinfeld....this is a channel about nothing! LOL

The brass trim outside when the door is shut really catches my eye and takes away from the door. I would paint that too. The door itself looks great ❤

That looks beautiful!! I have been trying to convince my husband to paint the front door black as well - we have a white door and it always looks grungy. Plus, the black would match the shutters AND look great with the federal blue and brick color scheme of the house 🤷🏻♀️ I think I’ll show him your door now! LOL

The door looks fantastically awesome!!!! I think anything looks good painted black it just makes it look crisper and cleaner but it melds well with the colors you have outside. It looks really really really really good!!

Try your sanding technique on the door sweep base and the metal trim around the door. May be easy to make it look silver!

That’s true I thought about it but the automatic door lock we have has a big piece on the inside that the batteries go in and the motor and that would be black and the rest of our house door handles are silver and the front door is right next to the office door with silver handles…so I just kept them silver 😆
Our door has always looked horrid. We’ve lived here for 20 yrs. No one ever reads the sign for us! Love the bench! I wanna get a no soliciting sign from Amazon that has a we have this, this, this, go away! 😹you could always do the design the same color as the trim! Just an idea.

I don't think I've seen anybody with a front or back door two different colors on each side. Plus black actually goes with the color of your house. So yeah great choice!!

Was hoping to see the bench when u where done to! Maybe paint the seat of the bench gray (so it stays cooler) and the legs black and add 2 outdoor throw pillows 1 square and 1 rectangle on the side against the siding!

At the house that I grew up in, my mom painted the front door and I'll be honest and say it looked bad. The house was a light blue and the door was originally a light beige color. For what ever reason, she decided that a light mustard yellow would be a better colour.

After my father died my mum kept finding banana stickers under her table. 2 years later she decided to wash under the table top and there were a hundred banana stickers stuck under her dining table where my father used to sit. She thought he was sending her a message. He was "clean under your table you Mucktub!!!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lolol did she leave them? I left our last dog’s nose prints on our windows for a year or so after he passed ❤️ I would have left the stickers 😘
