Upon most of them the divine Word has come true, and they

We have placed collars on their necks, reaching to their chins,

We fixed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier,
turning them blind, so they cannot see.
It is all the same to them whether you warn or do not warn
them - they have no faith.
You only warn him who follows the Remembrance and fears
the All-Merciful in the Unseen. To him give glad tidings of
36:11
forgiveness and a noble wage.
It is We Who revive the dead,
We Who register what deeds they committed.
What traces they left behind.
All things have We tallied in a manifest Record.
Strike for them the parable of the people of the town, when
messengers arrived.
