Joe Walsh is not only a huge influence in my guitar playing, but also in my own sobriety.
Joe and Don Felder were the best things to happen to the Eagles in my opinion.
    Thank you for everything Joe!
    One day at a time.

I've ALWAYS loved Joe. You could just watch him on stage playing his guts out and making funny wild faces! I could tell he is a wonderful person. I've heard in interviews the guys say he was the joking fun loving soul the band needed. I never knew he was that bad on drugs. But watching so many interviews, it makes my heart so sad to know he struggled so much. But thank God he got well. I just love him. Eagles are my favorite band of all time and I think they grew up and said wow it coulda been even better if we would have been different back then but you can't go back. I'm so thankful I got hear their music in my lifetime. Only if I wasn't a child and got to see them in person

We had tickets to see them in Portland, Oregon...ten years ago as a best guess. One of the band members took ill and the concert ended up being canceled. Re-scheduled date ended up we had other scheduled plans for that weekend. Both my husband and I talk about that a lot. What a loss ....

Glen Frey at 3:09 calling himself GENEROUS.?? Is that some type of joke ? I don't think Randy Meisner or Don Felder would agree. A person could not possibly be more greedy than Frey and Henley !

At least Henley doesn't have the audacity to claim he's super generous

It's too bad Glenn Frey could not forgive and forget with Don Felder. Now that he's gone it's sad.

forgive and forget what? he wasn't a part of the band, or his life anymore, and they were never close.

They paid randy's medical bills when he was hospitalized a few years ago.

I agree with everything said nothing will be the same without Randy and Don F., the money talks here.

The Eagles turn their back on Randy. When all of them as a bandmates and friends introduce him to the world of alcohol and drug abuse. Joe Walsh was in terrible conditions in those times. But he was called to the reunion of the Eagles motivating him to rehabilite.

lidia barrera Randy turned his back on what the public expected of he and the entire band when he started refusing to sing the keynote songs he was best at, such as Take It To The Limit, and that helped to make them who they became. Get the story right. It pisses me off when people want to feel sorry for someone who made their own fiery bed screwing all of those involved and is now having to lay in it.

Don’t think you can say they turned their back on him when they invited him to come back for the history of the eagles tour with Bernie Leadon. Randy was in hospital for a bunch of different issues and couldn’t participate in the tour. The Eagles went and paid all of his medical bills. Did they have to? Not at all they could have just turned a blind eye and continued on. The fact they chose to pay his medical bills on their own shows they do care about him and is overall well being.

I can't believe Henley said even you. I guess Walsh was the last io get over drugs and alcohol.

This is kind of confusing because Joe Walsh and Frey toured together in 1993 and they was making fun of Don Henley. I was at one of their concerts. So Frey obviously thought Wash was sober enough to tour with. And neither of them seemed to be interested in Henley lol

Whoopy do! It wasn't the whole story. Much of the "History" was more focused on the great Frey and Henley. They sure didn't give credit to the other original band members that out in a lot of work for the band to be a phenomena as they were. I think those two are complete jerks!
