Thanks for your comment. I absolutely agree with you about the north side of the island and actually had some more video that got accidentally deleted. The view alone one has from that side is world class stuff.
@guayacan07 Correct, nowhere near your experience in Mexico. It'll be like Disneyland compared to that lol. Do enjoy if you go. Very beautiful islands both US and UK.
I drove this every day for a year living on the west side in St. Thomas. The video is ok but there are a lot better rides I would have posted like the north side....now that's a beautiful ride. Or how about Scott Free Road, that's a scary beautiful ride, something worth posting.
Many caribbean islands are " dangerous" cuz of poverty, pick pocketing, theft, etc etc....does this apply to the Virgin Islands as well.....either US or UK?
Interesting that a lot of the comments about crime are from around 2010-2012. In 2010 there were 60 per 100k (per capita) murders in the USVI, combating with Honduras for the #1 spot (60.2 per 100k) for murders per capita world wide. When I write this in March of 2015, they are going at a rate so far of about 40 per 100k. The US average is about 5 per 100k, so do the math for the danger of going to the USVI. virginislandsdailynews.com/news/homicides-in-v-i-1.1089794 "The record 66 homicides committed across the territory in 2010 is 10 more than in 2009, and makes the Virgin Islands is the most violent place in the United States, on a per-capita basis."
I appreciate your comment. Such a nice place to kick back and relax in addition to going for a nice ride :)

@guayacan07
Technically, one could expect those little dangers anywhere. But I would agree that you won't see much of that in the VI as a whole.
Ditto,I was there in the mid-70's.Lot more goats and chickens running around.
i miss St.Thomas but i hate to drive over on West End
