Music hy Riccardo Drigo, Originally titled as "Valse mignonne" . Originally, this was one of about eleven variations Maestro Drigo was required to compose as supplements for Mikhail Ivanov's score for Petipa's 1888 ballet "La Vestale" (' "Vestalka" in Russian). At some point in the mid Soviet-era it was added to the Bolshoi's "Don Quixote" as a solo for a "bridesmaid". It was also added to various versions of "Le Corsaire" as a solo for Medora in the scene "Le Jardin animé". Many of Drigo's extra variations for Petipa's "La Vestale" are still performed, such as Kitri's "Dulcinea variation" in "Don Quixote", or Hebe's variation in the "Flora pas de quatre".
