I am a big fan of bluey and with season 3 airing in Australia, I thought I would do a breakdown of every episode with a small review, some spoilers, and any bluey theories that might pop up. Bluey season 1 and 2 hit disney plus two months after airing in Australia so hopefully, all of season 3 will be out for everyone soon!

Maybe he is embarrassed in front of an adult male he doesn't know, especially since he doesn't know how that dad will react to him playing with his kids and their friend like that

Anyone who says Bandit "never gets embarrassed" is not watching the show. Bandit gets embarrassed plenty of times in the show when he has to choose between playing with his kids in public or preserving his dignity. The only difference is that we've only seen Bandit choose to keep playing the games in public. This was the first time that he let his embarrassment stop him from playing. I don't see it out of character at all.
Bandit actually got embarrassed in S1,but after S2 first episode, he kinda let himself go, which is "Dance mode"

For the episode Seesaw I have a theory that Pom pom has dwarfism and that miniature/teacup versions of dog breeds in the bluey world are similar to people with dwarfism in the real world. because compared to her mum she looks way smaller and even compared to Pretzel even though pretzel is a Chihuahua he looks bigger than Pom pom.

@@Isabella-oo5vj Snickers is a dachshund Pretzel is a chihuahua. Also Pretzel isn't part of Seesaw I was just using him as an example of a small dog breed Pom pom still looks smaller than Pretzel by comparison.
I never thought that Bandit was ooc in this. I enjoyed getting to see that he still gets embarrassed sometimes. I think it gave more depth to his character tbh

Bandit having awkwardness is a very normal thing. It gives depth. It makes him more relatable. Actually parents can watch and go "Oh, even Bandit get's awkward sometimes."
I always believed he acted like that because it could be one of his co-workers or someone from university, since he has PhD degree. Which is it understandable.

That could make a lot of sense.
With all the hidden meanings behind Bluey episodes, I would NOT be surprised if Bandit struggles with anxiety or overall emotional issues. It could also explain Stickbird somehow, with being a parent with 2 children and all.
Hoepfully in future episodes, we'll see more character development

Bandit is a Professional in his line of work! He's used to being Dr. Heeler and is still figuring out this whole 'sometimes i can be silly too!' business!
Never saw bandit as ooc in this episode. As you mentioned we have seen him hesitant to "act out" when in public, even if it is around friends. Even in fairies he seems embarrassed and almost a bit hesitant to do it, obviously he does it for bingo but you can tell he thinks it's tough with all the people around at first. It is understandable that bandit can be silly at home or around his neighbours but still find it hard to do it around strangers. Besides, we see him "embarrassed" in episodes that involve other people
And ‘Dance Mode’ and the episode where Bluey pretends to be his mom.

Bandit was a little weird in this episode but he probably did it so the kids would have fun. Overall, this episode is a 4 out of 5 long dogs. It isn't really as great as other episodes but it's still pretty good.

I understand missy and bandit's fears in this episode,I'm easily scared and I don't like being rocked around ethier so I can understand how that feels,same with bandit,it seems like bandit has some anxiety when it comes to being around other parents and being silly,sometimes it is hard to be yourself in front of other people,I get nervous around people to,espcially at comic con and anime conventions cause there's alot of people there and it makes my stomach feel in knots doing backflips even though I'm there for the same reasons as everyone else to have fun

Good spotting Long Dog!!! I seen an article the other day how Long Dog is a piece of pasta in the pantry!!! I'll have to check for what episode! - Maybe Fairies??? We have driven ourselves Crazy trying to find him in all the episodes!!! Apparently the Bluey animation crew first did this between each other like a Where's Wally!!!💙💙💙 Someone also said they wanted to buy a Long Dog and do like Elf on the shelf I thought that's such a great idea💙💙💙

The reason Bandit stop making the whale noises because he’s trying not to be embarrassed by the other dad in the episode.
But then if the other dad shames bandit then the other dad will look dumb
I'm not sure the whale thing was a Pinocchio reference, since being swallowed by a whale is a bit of a trope, and an old one at that (it's in the Bible). However, I agree that Bandit was not OOC.
I like it that we see this side of Bandit struggling with being embarrassed in public. It gives his character more depth in showing that even parents who seem perfect still have their own flaws too.
I think this would've been better as a Chloe episode tbh, since her desc on the Bluey website depicts her as shy. This would've been a perfect opportunity to explore that since I don't think it's ever been touched before AND after this episode.
That’s so interesting they describe her as shy I wouldn’t at all based on her episodes especially wild girls in season 3!

Honestly I kind of related with bandit in this episode, I too would feel that way if I was in that situation
Believe it or not I really want to have kids but I kind of feel hesitant of being around children sometimes, despite the fact that I have a fear of being around children I still want to be a father one day
But under no reasons should any father have to feel embarrassed about being silly with their own kids even if they're in public, just be there for them and enjoy the time that you spend with them

10/10, why? Good episode to teach us to identify as Bandit just to be a better dad or man for the kids. I don't know why, but there's so much to learn instead of making a "point of view".

But... Staffy's are a type of Pitbull. That doesn't make sense to me why Pitties would be banned when they're such great dogs. I've had many growing up, and they're so sweet. Pitbulls, Weenie Dogs, and German Short-Haired Pointers are my favorites and are all very sweet dogs. 🫶🏻

Bandit was just embarrassed about him yelling and being immature and needs to know that what other people think doesn’t matter. Also I don’t know about you but I *HATE* the “Fairies” episode because of these:
1) The frozen Bingo (I don’t like the position and posture of her because it’s a bit weird for me, so it’s an episode that I regret watching)
2) Bandit’s tied-up tail (It was just ugly to me and again, it’s an episode that I regret watching
But the thing that I *DO* like about the episode is the end part where the fairy helps Bingo rearrange the heart domino. The fairy was super cute
I think many non toddler people like this show because its the childhood they never had

bandit can't be out of character due to the show being based on a real family who made the show and the family's experiences. Bandit obviously represents the dad in the family.
