On the topic of Diddy, I think it’s very easy for folks to get caught up in the memeification of it all (ie the thousand bottles of baby oil and lube) that they lose the plot entirely. People are getting caught up in conspiracy theories and witch hunting that they’re not keeping the main thing the main thing. Obviously there are at least a couple of celebrities that may have been part of these assaults/forced sexual encounters, and folks who knew but didn’t speak out. But one thing about (violent) criminals is that they always keep good people around them too. They know how to be a “good” person to a specific group of people. Why? Because you need people who can speak on your supposed good character. It’s not until you’re in the more inner circle that you get to know who this person truly is. Keep in mind that for most of the lawsuits, it’s not just Diddy they’re suing but also his companies and the few people around him that not only knew what was going on but helped facilitate it.
