@jpghumman I admire the effort she put to come out of her comfort zone to learn so many languages, her accent needs loads of work. She is using english singing techniques for punjabi songs. She is more of an eloquent singer perhaps around the classic genre. Punjabi bhangra is more of a folk tradition which uses rock, rnb, hip-hop type of beats and music sometimes abit of rap and abit of deep pitch, while classic uses high pitch, skipping a few letters in the pronoucation abit deeper on words
cool :) and this music's been their for ages before you were born. .. people are more influenced with UK bhangra and forgot what came out of our own .. too sad
it's hard to learn another culture I think she did a really good job plus everyone was dancing and having a good time...mission accomplished. I would have been right there dancing with them not understanding a single word just enjoying myself. People don't embrace your culture you complain people embrace your culture you still complain ...go figure!
