the Titans needs to be discussed more. yes they’ll be bottom of the South because it’s loaded with talent and Titans are in rebuild mode after blowing up the coaching staff to start over, but they snagged everyone on the Bengals including the coaching staff, got Ridley got a pro bowl tackle from the Broncos and now Sneed. IDC what anyone says that’s a winning free agency. They just need to draft Joe Alt and get another receiver in a later round

@@KeionLadson-of4ew They hired an offensive head coach, have a QB with one of the strongest arms in the league, have Ridley and Hopkins on the outside, and are rebuilding the offensive line with the best available free agent Center (not tackle) from the Broncos and a probable first round left tackle. What do you mean no passing game? Even picking up Pollard (who is much better receiver than Derrick Henry) to go with Speers should allow for a much more explosive passing game. Sleep on the Titans if you want, but the division is definitely up for grabs.
That seems like a bargain for the Titans. I wish my Lions would’ve went after Sneed.

I love Sneed and that he helped us win a couple championships. But he was as good as he was because of Spags and the fact the Chiefs pressured and sacked the QB better than almost every other team.

Sneed grabs all the time constantly. I understand the anti Chiefs folks that complained about it this season. In a Titans uniform he will get called for way more pass interference.

Andy lost to Bill enough times to sit back observe and learn what made them successful, now he’s applying that with his teams. He was always an above average coach but in the last 5-6 years he’s taken it up a few levels .

People are missing the point here. Just like the Justin Fields trade teams knew the Chiefs didn’t want to pay Sneed hence the tag so ofc they wouldn’t offer high price for Sneed especially if they were gonna have to sign him for a big payday after the trade.
Now on the Chiefs side they did Sneed a solid. Cause they knew they weren’t gonna pay him and they didn’t want to have him play on the tag while being unhappy and disgruntled bc he has no security. They decided to let him go test the market without even tagging him first.

Of course Chiefs would rather have kept Tyreek & Sneed, but you can't PAY everyone so hard choices must be made. KC traded Tyreek to keep Chris Jones, and the offense cratered from 35 points a game to 21, but that was offset by the improved defense. At $19M per year for Sneed, the choice was keep Chris Jones or Sneed but you really can't afford both without gutting the rest of the roster. Chiefs hate seeing Sneed go but decided Chris Jones would be harder to replace than Sneed. Imagine if KC could keep Tyreek, Sneed & Chris Jones. But that leaves nothing for the rest of the roster.

Willie McGinest, Lawyer Milloy, Ty Law, Richard Seymour, Vince Wilfork, Asante Samuel, Darrelle Revis, Rodney Harrison, Junior Seau, Dont'a Hightower, Jerod Mayo, Chandler Jones, Jamie Collins, Devin McCourty, and Patrick Chung. Among others. That's just what New England had on defense while Tom Brady was there. Not even mentioning any offensive players Brady had to work with. Find me 5 similar defensive players Mahomes has had on his defenses helping his team in these games? Frank Clark, Chris Jones, Tyrann Mathieu, and maybe Trent McDuffie? I'm not mentioning L'Jarious Snead in that group because he's never been voted to a Pro Bowl or an All-Pro team. So, the argument thus far in these two guys' careers? Is Brady had by far the better defensive supporting casts helping out in their runs. Straight up. There is no argument to be made. Honestly at all. Anyone who wants to look up the career statistics of those defensive New England Patriots players and compare them to the Chiefs' defensive players will see. The people arguing Brady had less? They must be thinking prime Eric Berry, Derrick Johnson, Tamba Hali, Justin Houston, Dontari Poe, and Brandon Flowers were a part of these Mahomes squads these past couple of seasons. They weren't. At all besides Justin Houston Mahomes 1st season. The rest were already long gone from the Chiefs rosters when Mahomes was there. This is coming from a Broncos fan, by the way. So, I have no love for the Chiefs. I'm just going to call it like I see it. The Patriots rosters were stacked from top to bottom. With legit above average players and several elite players along the trenches on both sides of the ball, as well as in the defensive backfield. They also had maybe the greatest defensive coach in the history of the game, calling the defense. We are talking about the same coach that held the elite Bills' never seen before, all the time no huddle offense to like 19 in the Bills first Super Bowl loss. Nobody that whole season held them down. Nobody had ever seen an NFL team run no huddle offense the entire game like that. It was unique, original, and never seen before the Bills did it. The Giants held them to less than 20. Parcells and Belichick held them to less than 20. Belichick was mostly responsible for that. Comparing Mahomes to Brady at this point based on their supporting casts? Is laughable. It's also laughable how when Brady took less for his team to be better around him? People commended him. But, last year, when Mahomes had just won his 2nd Super Bowl while being like the 8-10th highest paid quarterback? People like Mike Florio, Colin Cowherd, and others in the media? They were killing the Chiefs, and Mahomes saying "He needs to get the most amount possible because he's the best. He's hurting the other quarterbacks ability to make the most. He needs to bend the Chiefs over the barrel to break the bank!" I remember all of that on all of the talking head sports shows. You want to know why that happened? Because Tom Brady was a protected NFL asset, and figure. People won't even hold the Patriots cheating scandals against him, Bill, or the New England Patriots dynasty anymore when they obviously should. Why? Explain why? Because the NFL doesn't want the bad image on the shield. The Patriots should have been stripped of the 1st 3 they won against St. Louis, Carolina, and Philadelphia. Straight up. Anyone that thinks or say anything different? You didn't actually read or learn about exactly what was done and what was going on.
The opposing players from the Rams, Panthers, and Eagles all said the exact same thing. They said that when they went to line up in formations? The Patriots would audible pre-snap into the exact perfect look to have the best opportunity at success. Whether that was on offense or on defense. They knew what was coming at them before the ball was even snapped. If you don't think that is an inherent advantage for an NFL team? I don't know what you're seeing. The 49ers, Cowboys, Steelers, Packers, Chiefs, Dolphins, Redskins, Giants, Seahawks, Broncos, and Raiders eras of dominating have no similar types of scandals, or issues attached, or associated with them. Sneed is an injury concern. Period. His performance in 2023 is a result of Spags, the DB room and DL. I expect HUGE fall off in production next 2 years.

Sneed got away with a ton of pass interfering in that KC jersey. They can punch any guy in to grab the one receiver the entire game. You'll see a huge decline not getting the Mahomes dynasty treatment.
The big difference is the Chiefs have not been fined for cheating every season. No cameras in the opps lockerroom, no studying opps weeks before with lip readers watching to learn plays weeks before games, no deflated balls and no refs living in a home owned by the head coached.
