I went a normal Nasus build whereas another nasus went this build in Nexus blitz. Needless to say we got stomped so fucking hard by their nasus ONLY. Their nasus legit 1v5 our whole team in bardle royal AND urf deathmatch after his whole team was dead. What a build

In a 37 min game wouldn't you have over 1000 stacks as Nasus, doing way more damage than your Dark Harvest? I'm not convinced.
Well if this season more then 1/10th game goes untill 37 mins then that's a little useless.

Pyke's hook is harder to hit compared to Blitz and Thresh (this coming from someone with a Thresh picture who mained Blitz support since the Second Season)
The windup on Pyke's hook needs to charge so it can have max range, it becomes highly predictable as you charge it, it's also harder to hit at shorter ranges (like melee range) and long ranges since it has a bigger travel time (the reason he hit that hook at 8:33 was pure occasion, since hc was expecting him to fish trick instead, any up or down movement would've dodged that). In contrast, Blitz doesn't have a windup, just travel time (also costs more mana) and thresh's windup can be used to trick enemies
Hitbox is smaller than Blitz and Thresh hooks
Damage is better, even better if used as a slow, I use it mainly as a slow since it helps setting up E.
Stun is basically the pull time, once you are pulled you lose control for like 0.25 second and get slowed by 1 second, compared to Thresh 1.5 second stun and slight pull or blitz 0.5 - 1.5 (based on the pull distance) second stun and full pull.
Pyke is better in the meta though, thanks to his high mobility, self sustain and kill potential (something no support possesses).
@@RecoveringLoLAddict I would disagree, the increased mobility of pyke lets him get hooks easier, allowing you to better situate yourself in choke points and get guaranteed hooks.

If you think that pyke's hook is stronger than blitz's or thresh's hook, you need to climb out of bronze 4
it's about the same speed and has to be charged up, so you know when its coming... it's actually not a great hook.

Dark Harvest doesn't stack with much AP, your build lacked magic pen. This comes from a Teemo main that uses Dark Harvest. Get more magic pen next time to deal more damage.

While this build seems good under certain situations like if the enemy team is extra squishy all you really seem to be doing is a lot of chip dmg/dot which lead to you having the highest dmg but still feeling like you didn't have much impact in a lot of teamfights. It's not a bad build but I think it pales in comparison in most situations when compared to normal tank/bruiser nasus. I can see where a build like this would be good though.

3:45 that damage through Janna's shield was disgusting. Makes me sick. As for Nasus's damage; he did a lot but was it really effective? Aoe's do a lot of damage if you catch the entire team in a team fight but does that matter if none of them die? Damage only matters if you get the kill you can get a champ to 1hp 100 times but if you don't secure the kill does any of it matter. What i want to see is damage to OBJECTIVES the only damage that actually matters.
I have been playing ap nasus for a while now, my only mastery 7 champ. Always stomp lane even if they gank me once or twice

Only in high elo would this work because jungle ganks and roams. In my elo, which is gold/silver, id get spam pinged and the jungler would think im not work ganking.

Pyke is one of those situational supports cause he can't do very much on his own and gets clapped easily. unless he gets fed early he is worthless late game, like pantheon except harder to play (and he is still easy)
ap nasus is pretty decent. I ve won some hard lanes as AP.
