Very interesting. Having only heard his voice before, I thought Nathan was an older guy!
I always enjoyed listening to Nathan and it is refreshing to have the merchandise he produces. I have over the years bought inks and pens from Noodlers all of which I use and these are a source of joy to me. I hope he knows that there are folks like me out there.

Love Nathan's inks and plain speaking personality. I won't use anything else in my journalling (Heart of Darkness my favourite) as the ink is archival but not potentially pen killing like iron gall.

I wanna cry of love to Baystate Blue, what a unique color like no other in the entire world. if only it didn't bleed through to the other side. I love the ink so much I changed all the copy books to 90 g/m2 paper and it still barely stops the ink from bleeding. I dream of mutant ink: baystate blue color and pelikan royal blue wet properties

No. Nathan is basically anti-Steve Jobs. He's a total opposite of Steve Jobs.
His ink bottle designs are relatively awful. His inks are dirt cheap. His inks have special properties that is useful for a lot of people. He gives away free stuff (Charlie fountain pen).
I love Pure Pens. They are awesome just like Noodler’s ink.

Controversial or not, the man makes some of the best inks I know, and kerps the customer and pen at his focus. For that alone I will continue to support and buy his products
