Wow that was a great version Aaron. Sent shivers down my spine. When I retired after 36 years of truck driving I played that song over and over again on my way home after finishing my last day.
An excellent cover of a great song. It's a shame it doesn't have the number of views it deserves - hundreds of thousands... I'm working on a cover version of YOUR cover version, so thanks!
Thanks man....I truly appreciate you saying that. I Hope your wearing your ear filters more than your mask with all the garbage being thrown around these days....Dont let those who want or have power divide us no matter what you believe!!!
checked out 5 different acoustic covers of this song and this guy hands down is not only the only cover artist i could listen to entirely and thoroughly enjoy! great job dude. this was my mothers favorite song and more or less defined her life until she passed away in her vehicle unexpectedly while this was playing. im happy to know she was listening to it as she left :-)
Wow...Man, I gotta say that I'm terrible at knowing what to say when someone shares something so personal and touching...I'm honored if this in anyway brought back good memories of someone so important as your mother... my mother is a huge influence on me musically. Mom had a rock band when I was 8 years old and she still rocking today. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your story and kind words, they are both truly appreciated.
Sorry it took so long to respond... I'm not real good at watching this stuff anymore... I need to try to check in on this thing every once in a while lol
No electronics on that Martin....I set up a condenser mic and recorded audio with my mac....then matched it up with the video....all live tho....just added some compression n verb.
I tuned to 444, half step down... 444 is the only way to get 528 Hertz into your music... theoretically 528 Hertz is the frequency that all things alive on planet Earth vibrate.... it sounds like a bunch of hippy dippy crap but I feel like I can sing longer and stronger using it.
Just found your rendition of classic..Hreat job , man
Great job!

Curious, are you half step down?
you do an AMAZING job covering this song!!!! Sounds great.
Nicely done. JB's whole Running on Empty album is great. Kind of unique as a concept album.
Nice...

D16-gt Martin?
Just a D-1.... Plays great though... I played super expensive martins before and this one has great action and tone... Actually inherited this one.
Curious what your acoustic mic setup is? Or is it an electric acoustic? Sound is fabulous! 👍 nice job
