Hammies are cute! But be careful! They are very territorial and they will bite if they feel threatened. Frequent interraction and lots of treats will earn their trust!
@@hammie_yae You bet! I had a couple of Hammies when I was a Grade Schooler. Both being male, I had to keep them in separate cases! What's funny is that when they were out, they got along fine! I made the mistake ONLY ONCE trying to see if they could occupy the same cage! Uh-uhn! Nope!! Fortunately I was able to separate them without getting bitten myself!! One Hammie would actually approach my hand when I put it in the cage. The other would get really nasty, so I would distract him with treats and then just scruff him. Once out .He was as Sweet as a Kitten!!
@@RedneckSpaceman Yae san, the silver-glay coloured golden hamster, has so mild nature that she seldom tries to bite us. Up until now anyone who cared her hasn't been bitten. We're quite happy to live together with her. 😊

@@RedneckSpaceman Thanks a lot for the tips. But I and my wife don't ruin her peaceful life. Only when she requires us to play we open the door.
