Watching this after the 20 minute attempts video showed me how much preparation goes into it as well as tremendous luck! Every damn thing that could’ve gone right went right. To missing the bomb on the first trap that actually helped you with the roar. To the amazing flash that stopped him in his tracks, him flying into every trap. Loved it haha. I’ll stick to 10min+ hunts myself tho and leave this to yall 🤣
More like: Rey Dau Falling Boulder Solo. Also, ı happen to had GS equipped. Thanx for reminding me even after addition of counter, GS is still shit as ever and needs to heavily rely on environment and memorized monster patterns, meaning terrible to fight any monster first encounter head on.
you're forgetting that this is literally the first GS available, of course the environment will be optimal. this time is already pretty good, but with some optmizations, he could get a sub 4'30'' time, and instead you make a point to complain about one of the weapons most that most benefitted from previous iterations
elite level hater, gs has always been consistently good and wilds is no exception. U also need to remember that its not using focus or quick sheath skills
that’s only if you’re a terrible gs player. if you’ve played gs long enough, then you would have some level of instinct when you fight a monster for the first time and could probably predict what the monster will do based on past experience. and besides, memorizing a monster’s attack pattern is essential for every weapon, if you just attack whenever you want without thinking, you will get floored, no matter the weapon.
Replies as always filled with players who never soloed any tough monster, and relied consistently on coop to finish the game. Pointing out the weakness of the weapon is not hating it. The weapon in wilds has 1 good addition, that is counter, that might make it viable for normal playthrough, but other than that, you need to heavily rely on tools, environment to get still a considerably bad time in your first hunts. It doesnt get better after that, the weapon only becomes viable after you know every openings to elevated extend. Unlike any other weapon it has no mid tier play, just running around and draw slashing, which is what most do, is not even comparable damage. Then again, wilds seems to increase the first 2 attacks and reduce the TCS damage, so might make mid tier play possible, remains to be seen. So far, there are 2 types of GS players, speedrunner(casual personal speedruns count, you dont need to post it) or terrible, there are no in between, so most of u guys while thinking you are good or weapon is good probably the latter. Cuz GS speedrunners know the weapon is lacking and not a good playthru weapon. As for weapons I hate, Bowguns.
all according to my plan ah hunt
One of the most creative runs I've ever seen, just really made use of everything. Also really cool to see the GS offset attacks.
Bro is out here showing why this is Monster HUNTER, and not Monster FIGHTER. Great hunt, man
Wow u a real hunter
👏 🤩 🙀
