Hi! There is no velocity sensitivity! The fact that you can hear the intensity of the sound is probably due to the timing of the key release. Only the beginning of the sound is being played🥷
They could have gone for a set of normal velocity sensitive keys but realistically it would have looked substantially uglier. NGL, i don’t really mind the lack of velocity sensitivity - cause u can hook up a proper controller. I’d rather have Chompi be as small as possible. It definitely would have been nice to have pressure but I wouldn’t have changed it for the normal keys tbh. IMO Chompi is better for like one shots and “timeline processing” sort of “a la DJ”. Would be great if it had sensitive keys NGL but it definitely would have been either far more expensive or far less compact - both a negative IMO.
