As you asked about what the song is about; it is a Sufi song which praises in a way the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) and his status as the king. Please react to his more songs from Coke studio such as "Channa", "Go" "Sajan das Na". He is Atif Aslam from Pakistan and he has sung plenty of songs in Indian movies
Typical Indian(including Pakistani) music is usually based on different "raag"...classical singers learn different raags and the raags are specially designed according to the time of the day. Singers does not just practice or sing any random raag at any random time of the day...it's even supposed to be listened at that particular time frame only. The classical singers and old singers followed the practice very religiously. I know this is too much information but just thought of sharing that with you and everyone. ❤️
He is pride of Pakistan.... He sang songs for indian movies , also Pakistan, his songs are legendary.. He is legend 💜 This is Pakistani coke studio U also react more coke studio they are live music... Love from Pakistan
Also, the Indian language is Hindi, but the language he's singing in is Urdu, it's very similar, but also influenced from the arabic language and written in arabic letters whereas Hindi is written in Sanskrit. There is also another language, Punjabi, spoken in the Region of Punjab (both in Pakistan and India), which is also frequently sung in. At least two of Arijit's songs that you've heard so far are Punjabi.
India has more than 21 local languages and Indian artists always try to make something new by using these languages and also take reference from other countries that makes indian songs so beautiful and this song is dedicated to god and its a spiritual muslim song. My friend you are going to be famous soon because you are reacting to an Indian and pakistani singers which are famous for singing from mediaeval area.
You're right. Indian music is very complex, their notes and intonations vary from the western music. If you go down South, you'll discover a very different take on the musical journey, same as the North. And yes Indian music has so many traditional instruments that are very alien to others but it's been there for ages, and every single one brings a unique sound to the song. Coke studio is a fantastic place to explore artists cos they have stunning sound quality and quite honestly they keep it very simple and clean...so you can just concentrate on the vocals. Glad you're delving deeper into Indian music. There's so much more to unlock.
Well You Were Right About The Language The Language Here Used Is Urdu/Hindi Which Is A Direct Child Of The Ancient Language Sanskrit Which Literally Translates To Perfected Work(Language) And Music Is Called Sangeet Which Translates To Perfected Music. So Whoever Has A Indian Classical Education Can Sing So Beautifully As You've Witnessed Before Or Now.
@@lilkshmr If u listen to pure urdu It's hard for Hindi speaking person to understand bcs it's highly Persian influenced. But the usage of grammar is similar in both Hindi and Urdu.

Since you've officially had a glimpse of COKE STUDIO Pakistan, let's do more Currently we're on season 14 of coke studio There's a song called PASOORI which is a mixture of 2 language of Pakistan (Panjabi ~ a provincial language of Pakistan and Urdu ~ the national language of Pakistan) Good thing is that we have captions now Sooooooooo hope you like it as much as we do💜
The language is called URDU which is a Turkish word meaning mixed. Urdu is comprised of words borrowed and assimilated into it from many languages like English, French, Hindi, Turkish, but primarily and mostly Arabic and Persian, plus has its own words.
Meaning of This song .. Let a life of peace and contentment be my fate May my ship never sink even in troubled waters Let this be my fate It's not that heaven would not be acceptable to me, but O Writer of Destinies, let Medina be my fate. o king of the holy sanctuary Bless us with your merciful gaze So that our days of woe may turn for the better O patron of the poor, what would the world say If we return empty-handed from your door? We have no one to call our own, we are stricken with grief We come and cry for justice at your door Please spare us a merciful glance, or we will Die at your threshold, crying your name What should I tell you, O Prince of Arabia You already know what is in my heart In your separation, O you who bear the title of the Untaught One Our sleepless nights are so hard to bear In your love, I have lost all sense of consciousness How long will I remain in this state of unconsciousness? Cast a stolen glance towards me sometime Turn your ear to my words sometime No one has ever returned empty-handed from your door. Each seeker has returned with his desires fulfilled For your sorrowful lover O master, please spare a glance for your sorrowful lover Else the pages of existence will become disarrayed. O king of the holy sanctuary Come, devoted lovers, let's go to Medina! Let's go to Medina Come let's go to Medina! Let's go this very month The wonders of His Glory are glitteringly manifest in Medina The ardent gaze knows boundless fulfilment in Medina There's neither sorrow of life nor fear of death in Medina We will perform the prayer of Love in Medina Clear and direct is the path to God in Medina Come, devoted lovers, let's go to Medina! Let's go and drink from the hand of the Cupbearer of Kausar Keep in mind that If he looks up but once All the wine-cups that are empty will become filled! Keep in mind that if he looks up but once A look from him! All the wine-cups that are empty will become filled! There is fear of storm, and dread of lightning Our distress is severe, master, to whom should we turn? If you would not trouble to see how we fare Our afflictions would surely kill us O king of the holy sanctuary O Mustafa, O Mujtaba, show us mercy Yours is the hand all the helpless and hopeless grasp I am a sinner, feeble and helpless Friendless and destitute, and you Are the only one who cares for me O musk-willow, scattering fragrance O sweet breeze of the early morn O you who cures ills, O you with the breath of Jesus O consoler of the grief-stricken O auspicious messenger I beg you in the name of that same fragrance O morning breeze, if you go To that sacred land someday Present my greetings at the blessed grave Where the revered Prophet rests
Atif Aslam is a great singer really , somehow he just connected India & Pakistan together ohhh i really like his voice his song "Jeena Jeena "❤️ is my all time favourite 😊 whenever i listen to jeena jeena i think about my Bts boys 💜💜💜💜
I also love the key changes and the drum phrasings. It really show cases Atif's abilities. The composition is really creative. Your take on the language is true. I have also thought of that too.
This song is poetry English simplifies the lyrics so much I feel like only Urdu could do it justice, the song itself is on love, love and belief on the prophet it really is a masterpiece.
The words in English are limited but in Urdu you can choose words to express anything from Arabic , Persian. Urdu has is a sea of words you will find different meanings of a single word but in our generation people prefer English over other languages which is kinda heart rending
You know what bud, there's so many fake reaction channels out there just to get views, and so you're a breath of fresh air. i don't know if you read the comment or not but he's a Pakistani singer and this is Pakistan's COKE STUDIO which is very very diverse and beautiful. And here's the little meaning of this song/ naat. This was Gratitude and Dua. Tajdar E Haram is the title of a song dedicated to Prophet Muhammad SAW. Such songs are called “naat” Taaj - Crown Daar - The one who holds (the Crown) E - Of Haram - Sacred places (Madina) (holy place for muslims). Big Borahae to my ARMY sibling.

He is my childhood crush ... And when I saw and heard him in real time.. I was just so mesmerized by his voice
You mean *mesmerized. 😅
@@ahlamhossain7906 oh my mistake 😅😅
Song is about he is asking Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him to have mercy and kindness upon him. He is talking to him in lyrics out of pure love.
Aww its so sweet that you are watching him as i requested thank you so much means a lot!💜
He is pride of Pakistan....

Man he is from Pakistan and he is a legend, he sings some songs for Indian films as well.
Please listen the music of Sonu nigam , KK, Mohit Chauhan and one of the Indian legends AR Rahman ❤☺
This isn't Indian music it's Pakistani and it's masterpiece
You gotta react to 'Rang' by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan! You will be blown away!
Forgot to add that this is a pakistani song.
Well You Were Right About The Language
The Language Here Used Is Urdu/Hindi Which Is A Direct Child Of The Ancient Language Sanskrit Which Literally Translates To Perfected Work(Language) And Music Is Called Sangeet Which Translates To Perfected Music.
So Whoever Has A Indian Classical Education Can Sing So Beautifully As You've Witnessed Before Or Now.
Urdu is mixture of ( Persian, little bit of Arabic and turkey)
Not Sanskrit.
Yes Hindi is child of Sanskrit and urdu itself.
@@MariaKhan-ys9pm So You are saying Urdu Has Nothing To Do With Sanskrit
Did i got that Right
@@lilkshmr
Yes
@@lilkshmr
If u listen to pure urdu
It's hard for Hindi speaking person to understand bcs it's highly Persian influenced.
But the usage of grammar is similar in both Hindi and Urdu.

There's a song called PASOORI which is a mixture of 2 language of Pakistan (Panjabi ~ a provincial language of Pakistan and Urdu ~ the national language of Pakistan)
Good thing is that we have captions now
Sooooooooo hope you like it as much as we do💜
Pasoori is not a worthy enough song for a react
yes, would love to see that.
@@jollybetter excuse you....
That's clearly not what the views and response to the song say🤷🏻♀️
The language is called URDU which is a Turkish word meaning mixed. Urdu is comprised of words borrowed and assimilated into it from many languages like English, French, Hindi, Turkish, but primarily and mostly Arabic and Persian, plus has its own words.
You sure have to listen to Mahesh Kale (Marathi Singer) to go deep into Indian classical music. Let me tell you, you won't regret it!!
Meaning of This song ..
Let a life of peace and contentment be my fate
May my ship never sink even in troubled waters
Let this be my fate
It's not that heaven would not be acceptable to me, but
O Writer of Destinies, let Medina be my fate.
o king of the holy sanctuary
Bless us with your merciful gaze
So that our days of woe may turn for the better
O patron of the poor, what would the world say
If we return empty-handed from your door?
We have no one to call our own, we are stricken with grief
We come and cry for justice at your door
Please spare us a merciful glance, or we will
Die at your threshold, crying your name
What should I tell you, O Prince of Arabia
You already know what is in my heart
In your separation, O you who bear the title of the Untaught One
Our sleepless nights are so hard to bear
In your love, I have lost all sense of consciousness
How long will I remain in this state of unconsciousness?
Cast a stolen glance towards me sometime
Turn your ear to my words sometime
No one has ever returned empty-handed from your door.
Each seeker has returned with his desires fulfilled
For your sorrowful lover
O master, please spare a glance for your sorrowful lover
Else the pages of existence will become disarrayed.
O king of the holy sanctuary
Come, devoted lovers, let's go to Medina!
Let's go to Medina
Come let's go to Medina!
Let's go this very month
The wonders of His Glory are glitteringly manifest in Medina
The ardent gaze knows boundless fulfilment in Medina
There's neither sorrow of life nor fear of death in Medina
We will perform the prayer of Love in Medina
Clear and direct is the path to God in Medina
Come, devoted lovers, let's go to Medina!
Let's go and drink from the hand of the
Cupbearer of Kausar
Keep in mind that
If he looks up but once
All the wine-cups that are empty will become filled!
Keep in mind that if he looks up but once
A look from him!
All the wine-cups that are empty will become filled!
There is fear of storm, and dread of lightning
Our distress is severe, master, to whom should we turn?
If you would not trouble to see how we fare
Our afflictions would surely kill us
O king of the holy sanctuary
O Mustafa, O Mujtaba, show us mercy
Yours is the hand all the helpless and hopeless grasp
I am a sinner, feeble and helpless
Friendless and destitute, and you
Are the only one who cares for me
O musk-willow, scattering fragrance
O sweet breeze of the early morn
O you who cures ills, O you with the breath of Jesus
O consoler of the grief-stricken
O auspicious messenger
I beg you in the name of that same fragrance
O morning breeze, if you go
To that sacred land someday
Present my greetings at the blessed grave
Where the revered Prophet rests
May God bless you.
