Windfoil Sabfoil Balz Pro 799 & crash-test dummy

Short session Jan 2nd 2023 at Tokerau Beach Far North NZ. Testing my home made back mount for the Insta360 One X2 camera. It worked well. My skills, not so much that day.
Gear: SB Foil X 105 - 183x62cm, Goya Guru X Pro 2.7m², Balz Pro 799, 95 mast, 900 fuse, 425 stab.
Conditions - Possibly the windiest I've foiled in. Karikari now casting showed gusts to 46kns. On the beach the anemometer was showing an average of 26 with gusts to 35. There was at least that at times on the water. Small to med wind swell. Unfortunately 360° cameras make the conditions seem lighter than they are...

Thanks Greg. Yeah a not so good day at the office ended up making some interesting video shots. Btw the pole is just under 1.1m long but the video edit can make the camera seem a lot further away. Cheers.

Great video, I have crashed in many of the same ways! The video helps in correcting. Nothing beats a 360 cam! What did you use for the mast o f the camera mount? Keep 'em coming!

Hey Robert. Its a sail batten tube into which I've epoxied some wooden dowel to hopefully give it more strength. Some kite line runs from the camera bolt down to the base plate, in case it does break in two. So far so good... Cheers
