- ANOTHER brand new dinosaur this week (and our final Jurassic Park 1 dinosaur!) it's the Gallimimus. Another great looking dinosaur, but also a proper look for the first time at our park guests!

ABOUT JURASSIC WORLD: EVOLUTION
A brand new Jurassic World video game - Jurassic World: Evolution has been announced. Coming in Summer 2018 this park builder for PC, Xbox One and PS4 is going to let us finally build our very own Jurassic World. A sort of sequel to Jurassic Park Operation Genesis and the Jurassic World film, Jurassic World Evolution will contain a bunch of dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurus Rex Rexy, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Indominus Rex, Indoraptor (okay probably) and more. Jurassic World Evolution will release alongside Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and is the top upcoming dinosaur game for 2018.
No swearing, family friendly commentary.

The idea of having children in the park is cool. As you may remember in the novel, Velociraptors targeted the children because they're easier prey (something that occurs in real life). So what if the sight of children makes some carnivores more aggressive and even target them first once they break out?

Yea. The issue with this is that killing kids in video games is very frowned upon. I was hoping there wouldn't be any, because if there was, they would likely be immortal. This is honestly pretty bad news to me personally, as it makes the dinosaurs feel far less threatening
I guess we'll see what they do. Kids which can die? Great. No kids? Perfect. Immortal kids? No thank you.

To be honest I think this spotlight was kind of disappointing, I mean I really like gallis, but in both clips the just show them standing in circles, while in the other spotlights showed the critters in different animations.
They could at least have shown a big flock running around, cause thats what they are kind of famous for...
Yeah I think the two were a little bit too similar for my liking, the look at the guests was good, but we've been spoiled recently.

Christopher Sochor Well to be fair, there's at least a different animation happening in the background. As BiS said, the first shot had a single Gallimimus running by, which caused one of the groups to react to it. The second shot, if you look closely at the top middle, has another Galli standing still then starts chasing after something.
The Gallimimus exists to be eaten by the Rex when it breaks out. They must be eaten or frightened into comas.

Wouldn't they get into problems with the age-rating of the game if children could be killed by dinosaurs? I remember some games where you could kill adults fine, but were unable to kill children because of that, like Skyrim.

Yeah I don't expect children to be killable for exactly that reason. I do however expect modders to fix that relatively quickly...

Oh sweet, it's the dinosaur that would be everywhere in a dinosaur park because it would be one of the safer Dinos, sure there are dem legs of the Galli but... Therefore insurance is a thing
Gallimimus is actually one of the fastest dinosaurs that ever lived, reaching speeds of 50 mph or faster! Gallimimus was about 6.6 ft tall( even though some were even taller), they were nearly 20 ft long, had a mass of 440 lbs, it lived 100.5 million- 66 million years ago ( Cretaceous Period) in Mongolia, and its name means “ chicken mimic”.

I hope the humans have unique designs so you don’t get 50 guests who all have the same look. Also I hope that when they come out of a store that they’ll have a bag full of the stuff they bought and when they get food that they’ll walk around with it through the park. Also I hope they don’t piss me off as much as the Zoo Tycoon 2 guests do!

I am glad you showed the guests cause other people on the official JWE channel video were talking about them and I couldn't see them at all. I was looking for them and I was like "Where the hell are they? Are people just seeing shit or what? lol The guests look good. Nice and realistic and not cartoony. Also it's believable. I can see myself walking along a trail next to an enclosure and looking at Dinosaurs.

It was 2 groups of 4, the first group had 4 and the second had 4, the forth one was just running away (from probably at t-rex). And then there was some in the back of course

They said they were updating the Deinonychus after the backlash, I'd really like to see the revised version.
I hope against hope that they come out with a special edition that includes a digital copy of JPOG. That would absolutely be worth the extra cash.
Wow that is some good thinking on the Gallimimus on being in individual groups bit there might possibly be moments on when they might all be together and funny when u talk about the lone gallimimus running.

I know this is just the normal JW website gallimimus colour scheme but, I really like these stripes and patterning, probably on of the prettier dinos we’ve seen so far after ceratosaurus and of course the rainbow hadrosaur edmontosaurus

One thing I want almost as much as the endless species list is a variety in attractions and rides. The gallimimus truck safari from Jurassic World is definitely near the top of the list. Throw in Olorotitan and Therizinosaurus and you got a perfect Asian Oddities safari.
I'm sure the gallis are very thankful that Tim isn't there to stare at them.
I like the Galli animation though as well as the details and behavior, really cool and it's similar to an ostrich run and exactly like in JW unlike in JP where the running animation is slightly different. Just saying.
Just one thing I'd like say regarding these beautiful dinos. The Gallimimus scene in Jurassic World took a whole year to be made if we look carefully at the scene in the movie we'll actually see each one of those Gallimimus run slightly but obviously different in style I really wish to see that in the game though I highly doubt it. I'm not asking for 10 different in variations in running styles but at least 3 or 2 different run styles that we can choose to give to a Gallimimus when deciding to incubate them. please take to them 😄

There were 8 not 7 in the first surveillance video the close group with 4 and the second with 3 and "number 7" is the 8th galli in the clip. :) Just saying.
For Rexy and all dinos I'm wishing to see the following below:
1. For her to have several different roaring poses rather just one fixed roaring pose over & over again.
2. To see her & other dinos eye pupils expand/ dilate.
I saw your comment on the profile bis. Also I bet the next dino profile, if it's a herbivore, it's either going to be camarasaurus, para or edmontosaurus
I want them to show the Dilophosaurus, Carnotaurus, or the Baryonyx next.
They needed a small herd being chased around by a Rex. We haven't seen the Dilophosaurus, Raptors or Parasaurolophus in a species profile yet.

So, In JPOG, the guess don't really care if a Dinosaur is literally killed in front of them. My question is, In JWE; If guest will actually care if Dinosaurs are slaughtered in front of them. Especially children, like, Let's say A Gali is jumped by Raptors in front of guest (The Dinosaurs still in the enclosure) I dunno, I'd like to see BIS go into more detail on that topic.

They look amazing. Maybe, like in life, the galls in the game will be omnivores, eating mostly plants, but also dines on small animals, and I hope they are a bit more dangerous. After all, they look and are bigger than ostriches and ostriches are very dangerous with their feet and claws. Who says that a Gallimimus is any different? Now, hopefully, we'll get a carnivore, likely a smaller one like Herrerasaurus and not a big, bad Spinosaurus.
