If you're impressed by this lap you have to watch the full episode of Guy doing the Pikes Peak run (US mountain road time trial). He built a beast of a bike and because of his TT experience he's didn't ease off when others did. He's also done the wall of death which was brilliant to watch.
Didn't his bike have a misfire and he 'rode around it,' meaning--- he knows exactly how engines work and made it work. My opinion is that he is supernaturally talented.
Guy Martin is a special human.
Guy Martin is a pure working class Super Hero .Fearless .British treasure. Absolutely no graces with this guy 🎉
Guy Martin is incredible.
Just another day for the man that holds Five Guinness world records 👌 All in his stride.
hes a national treasure
Modern day Fred Bibnah
Take a look at his world record attempts
Fastest cycle
Fastest downhill sledge on snow
Fastest downhill gravity racer
He has no fear!!!
just watched this and we are all leaning into the corners.
Can see the broken bits of road and things at the start of that lap, bumps everywhere, not a smoothed out maintained race track, those dudes have the biggest balls on the planet.
you should check out is world speed record on the wall of death, Guy Martin is a legend
Hell, I wouldn't be upset with more like this/Dibnah - this kinda thing.
I don’t know if you’ve seen Guy’s triumph world record on Bonneville Salt flats, or his van driving on the Nurburgring. He’s one of a kind, a national treasure.
Hi guys, as you said the TT is fast approaching, have you ever seen the video PETER HICKMAN BMW HP4 RACE | IOMTT | Chin Camera full lap? It is not at full race speed but still quick and very impressive.
Guys, have you watched the documentary called "Road" ?
It's an incredible watch, it's about the Dunlop family (road racing dynasty) Joey, his brother Robert, and Robert's sons William & Michael.
Narrated by Liam Nelson, it's possibly the best documentary I have ever seen.
(King) Joey was my sporting hero. But the truth is, they were/are all kings.
Watch it guys, you will love it, but be warned, have the tissues ready.
Thanks, from Belfast N.I. 👍
i couldn't remember what it was called, but yeah, those guys are unreal.
In 2010 they brought out the DVD "TT Beyond the Edge" which followed Guy and John McGuinnes amongst others, it was also released as a 3D version as 3D TV was a big thing being pushed back then and I've got to say it is the best execution of 3D I've ever experienced as it realy gives you a feeling of depth and speed.
It's called CLOSER TO THE EDGE I went to the cinema and watched it in 3D I also own multiple copies it also came with the first electric TT documentary film which is also a great documentary with the USA vs ENGLAND
@nothernmonkey8612 your right my fingers were typing faster than my brain, I've still got a 3d TV and keep it running to watch it now and again
Daniel and Spencer made a great reaction to Closer to the Edge some months ago.
they need to watch Road the dunlops family story
@@chuckshc376 Road.
@14:15 "now i'm having to hang on for dear life" no drop in the revs though!
The 1992 senior TT race between Steve hislop on the Norton against Carl fogarty on the Yamaha is probably the best TT race ever I highly recommend watching it
a very good ding dong battle, Hislop also held there lap record for a decade i think, I really miss Hissy and Dave Jefferies too
Have you asked Guy Martin for an meet up
Did ya check out his big crash ? He's super lucky to be alive
Glad to see you gents with another TT video. You should watch ROAD, if you haven't already. I'm going to the TT again this year and I've been having withdrawal symptoms since the end of June last year😂
Guys, check out the NW200. Over 200mph side by side racing.
An spencer called him thick 😮
Another thing to watch is guy Martin on the written super bike a nz fully carbon bike that was a race winner check out tlc greatest motorcycle britten v1000 guy Martin one of the very few people to ride it
love your Guy Martin reaction video's. he should of been on Top Gear!
A proper professional risk taker probably thinks if you don't find limits you can't test them , a proper gladiator approach to things so if watching you know it's value for money at least and a master class most of time , it helps that he understands the machine and it's function .very educational. 4:54
hope you went to his pub when you were in the UK
It really does show you how close the top 5 or 6 top th racers are to each other guy never won the tt so you know how hard it is seeing guys lap
Lol when he said did ya spot the lap board with his time on it , I was like how can you possibly see a lap board at that speed never mind read it , I couldn't take my eyes of the road for even a split second because at those speeds a split second is 50 or 100 meters and you can definitely crash it's kind bogling how these guys process information and how quick their reflexes are !
Check out "All of Guy's epic crashes and gruesome injuries Guy Martin proper"
This is a mild lap compared to Peter Hickman a lap record which he also commentates.
TT Riders are Human Computers fighting each other and Physics/Nature.
Great reaction guys check out Peter hickman chin camera lap
*closer to the edge
18:50 :D
It may be a new Bike for him but he is an old hand at the course.
14 TTs , 17 Podiums and no wins , if not for mechanical problems he would have a few wins at least , i think after the Ulster GP 2015 crash he was never the same racer , If you havnt seen the crash have a look x
How is this copyright it practical a home made video.
Guy Martin never won the TT but this (2010) was his best chance, he was leading until the final race when he admits he pushed the bike too hard and lost control, he even says as he was crashing he accepted that he was going to die before his body hit the wall. Thankfully he hit at an angle that didn't do too much damage but imagine accepting in your mind this is your final moment on this earth.
Spencer... are you nuts???
Fk the 1st week of the TT fortnight. 1st week practice 2and week RACING... and someone invited you to go.. Man if you want to go next year, you may book a hotel now this year and its gets more expensive every year even if you're camping. 2 weeks on the island is not cheap ✌
