  • We decided to test our Van to learn more about Pros and Cons of stock vehicle. We knew that this Van is one of best platform for a small size Overlander, and it is still affordable!

Great Video, Thankyou. I have a D5 diesel here in Australia which I am not game to take on tracks like you have, But after watching your video I just might now. Probably not as good as your Space Gear but I have a little bit more clearance and a shorter wheel base so, time to give it a try.

Huh, this looks similar to the place where Britishmuzzleloaders does his videos.
Have you ever seen someone with an old rifle in an old british/canadian uniform going around up there?

how deep have you had this thing wading? I have the 3.0 too, I’ve been through some deepish puddles on the road and it didn’t like it. seemed like electrical issues.
it wasn’t deep enough to reach the air filter so no issues there. Just wondering if you have any problems wading specifically because it’s not the diesel engine, despite the snorkel… ?

This particular rig, no, I didn't. Back in 2007 I had Pajero v73 with the same engine. I did a lot off-roading and crossing rivers, deep puddles. The depth sometimes was up to the intake and I did not have any problems at all. My opinion is that 6G is one of the best engines designed and constructed by genius engineers. Unfortunately cars are getting old, and with this car I think it will be quite challenging due to old wire, particularly connections. If I find a good safe crossing, I will try

I think with a bit more lift and some chunkier tyres, it would be much better!
    Good job though.

I think its amazing to see that you _dont_ really _need_ chunkier tires and all kinds of expensive extras...
A skilled and caring driver goes a long way..!!
This car (and its siblings) is great from stock anyway!

What were your Tyre pressures? They looked a little high, you would get much better traction with lower pressures 😃

That's true. It's a lot of work without a good air and compressor
