R.I.P to Jessi Combs! There was no one like her. Cute, ambitious, intelligent, sassy, down to get dirty & get it done, yet could get all dressed up. And there won't be another one like her. Sad I never got to meet you Jessi Combs. But you did so much good for the world you will never know.
She was sweet in life as she was on TV . Was a pleasure to have met you and I am saddened for the lost of a wonderful person. RIP Jessie

Jessi was a talent taken too early from this world.
By the time you add all the items needed to make a Dana 60 a relatively bullet proof axle the weight as almost that of a deuce and a half truck axle. The deuce is still going to be a little heavier but only about a hundred pounds or maybe even less than a built 60. The only upgrades need are a locker to make it just as functional as a built 60. Also it has a 6.something to one ratio right out of the box. Also, even after adding a locker, it's much less of an investment than a 60. The tires and wheels might be a challenge. Good thing is the availability of tires like stickies and other off road tires in a 20 inch rim is much much better now. If you take a stock 60 and just drop a locker of some type it will cheaper and lighter but it has all things that lead people to build them up. Should you use deuce axles? You have to weigh all the pros and cons and figure that out for yourself. Best of luck on your build.
