I wish someone would make a video of tuning the carb on a early 200’s Forman 450/500 rubicon. Not a single video I have found. I am getting a little backfire, turning the pilot on the bottom doesn’t really seem to do much. It runs decent but here and there it sputters when you gas on it, but not everytime. The tank seems to have an audible bubbling sound from the vent hose that I don’t recall hearing before as well.

Mine is an 08 with 6000kms, 900hrs. Not as loud but close to same noise. No smoke but loud ticking/tapping that dulls when under throttle. At idle its so disheartening to hear. I'm losing faith in Honda...
10000% agree with you Tiffany! Do your maintenance and these will last you a looooong time. Now the hondamatic models on the other hand. Their tranny is a major concern. Thanks for watching.
@@MidNebraskaMotorsports The one I am referring to is a 2009 Rancher AT ( DCT ) /ES with IRS, like 45,000 something on the odometer, he said something went wrong with the ES , but it still Runs, also said they had to replace the rear end on it as well

I’m working on purchasing a new Honda Rancher, and they have 8 different models , Footshift, ES, DCT ES Power Steering, DCT ES IRS, and DCT ES IRS, which one is likely the most reliable over time ? I hear the DCT is a reliable transmission, but has had issues with the computer programming in the past, the es has always had the needing to rock it into gear issue, but I didn’t know if the foot shift would have more wear on the transmission s the es model, or the DCT over the long term, so what’s yours input on the selections ?

That tends to happen when the oil filter gets put in backwards!!

I have an 07 rubicon with this noise. 2200 miles and it’s ridiculously annoying and loud. Sad it’s like this with so little miles.

Seen these Honda's with 40 plus thousand miles without that issue, basing by the looks of the machine, that was a rough 17,000

any updates on this? I am afraid this is my problem. Although mine does it when first cranked and then kind of fades after 20 seconds.
