The general idea of a security update isn't to make a system 100% invulnerable against attacks, but it's to create as much hassle as possible for hackers to get through. A dedicated enough hacker will eventually managed to get through with hundreds or even thousands of trials and errors. Destroyer2009 is exactly such hacker.
