People love to hate on him, but every ounce of his ego is wholly justified. Yngwie is an absolute juggernaut in the pantheon of guitar history. Enjoy his bombastic presence, he won't be around forever. RIP : Jeff Beck, Alan Holdsworth, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eddie Van Halen...et cetera
I've met him before, and Ive seen him on interviews. The man is very smart, personable, and a brilliant player. Of course he has an ego, but what they print in those magazines is an exaggeration. The only thing is that I wish him and Blackmore would take time to compliment each other.
@@iowolveloki You said, “True” he is brilliant but you don’t like his sound? I don’t get it. The man is doing amazing specially to be working for Yngwie that it can be a little hard on his musicians most of the time. See, the only bad thing that Yngwie has is his fans, people like yourself that doesn’t know anything about music or how hard is this profession and loves to talk out of your arses !!! You don’t have an idea how hard is for that keyboard player to keep his job with Yngwie specially in this time of financial crisis. So, grow up man and start giving some respect!!!

@@iowolveloki I know the band I'll mention is not really metal but there is a concert u might like to watch. I had no idea greg guiffria was once such a amazing keyboard player. I think the song is called " turn me on" live with craig goldy. The singer was good but schmaltzy. The band great and the keyboard solo I've never seen anything like.
A set list of familiar favorites mixed with cover remditions would have been a salute to his talent n influences but he needs a singer even if he makes it personal cause like Ulrich Roth they can play like meastros but vocals fall short Just riffs of arpeggios cant carry any performance😢All in all Yngwie was the 17th centurys answer to electricity❤
Watching this show makes me really sad. Yngwie has been a huge influence for me as a guitarist, but this is not what once impressed me. The music he created was IRL always performed by him, together with the band. Here not so. It isn´t even a "full band". No reason whatsoever for having the keyboard player sing ( or vv). Second verses dropped from legendary songs and so on and so on. Most of the show based on instrumental pieces that once we´re brilliant, in their own context. To hear them all in a row is just, what shuld I say? Too much? Definately, it´s even worse, combined with the above remarks. I saw him live once, over ten years ago, keyboard-singer combination was already then a big turn off, but the set was still built on a good mix of music, mostly not instrumental. I rememeber thinking that I did not hear him hit a single false tone during the whole show. I wil stick to this memory and listen to and look up his older stuff, he has really made a difference in the guitar-world but is not contributing at that level anymore.
Because he's an egomaniac... it's getting worse, he doesn't want a good singer, he prefers to sing himself (too bad by the way) and his bandmates must be cornered... he's become his own worst enemy.
@@luisalonso9405 The truth is that i would like to see again a singer like Turner and Vescera! Malmesteen has a nice voice but.....I dont wanna think that "cornered" them :( anyways.... I totally agree with you Luis about vocals.
Give me dozens of musicians over Yngwie Malmsteen. All his guitar solos sound the same and all of his songs, even with vocals are boring. He hasn't written any great catchy rhythm guitar playing unlike EVH or Randy Rhoads or any of the older legendary guitar rock and metal gods like Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page or Tony Iommi. Hell I think the songwriting, singing and guitar playing by blues rock musician Samantha Fish is much better and enjoyable than Yngwie Malmsteen. That’s the best I’ve heard him play in a long time. That had some good moments in it. ❤
Mr. Malmsteen you still got it….
He is a Legend!
Great show!
Still got the Magic.
I totally agree!

He visto muchos guitarristas, pero Malmsteen está a un nivel SUPERLATIVO.. Genio 🙌🙌🙌
Creo q Richie blackmore creo este estilo....y Malmsteen lo copio y lo volvió más brutal...
Thanks for sharing...big fan here!🤟

El mejor de todos lo vi en vivo increíble
This live tone seems the tone from album "Fire and Ice", isn´it?
Close enough my friend!
Amazing
At 6.50 its the Slippery when Wet Tour ! ain t it ? ;-) Just a joke, I am a big Yngwie Fan !!
Haha! :)
the king🤘!
The crowd is like 10 people spread out ? It looks so empty!
It was the 1st live after quarantine "covid" and the sits were counted i think.
Epicless
I agree :D
I've heard those scales before

It sounds like he’s going direct . The cabs are not on
what do you mean?
No point throwing pics into the audience, unless you aim carefully.

everyone was masked and social distanced so he was just tossing them to the ground. habit

The invisible peel :'')
He has been the worlds greatest neo-classical player since 1984, I dso prefer Blackmore. Seeing Yngwie in Ft Lauderddael on My 5

I disagree. Everyone is different.
Oh, bad!
Ηaha! Bad"ass" :D
Why does Yngwie take half the stage for him self and puts the rest of the band in one corner all bunch up !!!! this is lack of respect to the members.
Hello Jose, Yngwie is a little "weird" on his thoughts but i dont know about that. :)

No doubt he is talented and can play fast. But give me Schenker or gary moore any day as at least they play with feeling. This is boring.

Go listen to Schenker and Gary Moore than
