Brought in at first as back up to Drogba, had an incredible season in 08-09 (starring role considering Drogba was out injured for much of it). Such an integral member in that 9-10 squad, Joe Cole missed out but Anelka flourished in that RW position in the 4-3-3.

He had his fall outs with managers due to his quite rebellious character during his earlier years, more or less underachiever considering his immense talent. Always have been fan of his and very happy that we have his mature version for few years. The partnership with Didie and Malluda with Frank right behind them was a joy to watch.
I think he played his best football at Chelsea, mature composed and seemed happy.
