Very underrated striker, i loved the partnership of him and drogba 💙
how underrated when he was most payed football player on earth in that time?
Lampard could see Anelka even before the camera could catch him what a combination
Malouda Drogba Anelka, Chelsea true beast, Abramovich should have kept Ancelotti
@@MrAthul22 ah ure right mb. Was going off of our kit. Did we have the same kit two years in a row? Cos the home kit is the same as the moscow ucl final
In the end, we can say we made him our own after being something of a nomad. Intelligent and above all selfless in blue. Its also notable that this season came after the low in Moscow. Great player
Selfless? Yeah, that's why he stole Alex's goal vs Sunderland when he was offside lol
@Maffchops with all of his good doings at Chelsea you still wanna highlight that one mistake? Really?
One of the most underrated ST of Premier League History
Süβhř0 Ř0Ÿ He was good and definitely better than the average premier league striker, but he’s not as good as many (Henry, Van Nistlerooy, Drogba, Rooney, Van Persie, Shearer, Aguero etc etc)
having a striker like Anelka was a blessing scoring goals all the time
This was also when Drogba was out injured for much of the season. Anelka was such a great back up to Drogba.
What do you mean the guy played over 500 career games and only scored 157...
@@flamingravenmc4058 Yeah, he really didn't score "all the time". And I think there was never a PL golden boot winner with less goals.
He was good though! Just very inconsistent and changing clubs all the time. There was a time were he was the player with the highest amount of transfer fees payed, for a single player combined.
Anelka played for so many teams but i feel like Chelsea is where he was at his happiest. Brought in at first as back up to Drogba, had an incredible season in 08-09 (starring role considering Drogba was out injured for much of it).
Such an integral member in that 9-10 squad, Joe Cole missed out but Anelka flourished in that RW position in the 4-3-3.
PirateRadioDude let’s not forget how Chelsea treated him before he left
He was just a finisher at this point, he lost it after Madrid... confidence was shot in terms of his overall game as they essential told him all he had to do was score goals hence why he was considered so selfish (even as a person). He would have been as good as TiTi had he stayed at arsenal and developed
Positioning : 99
Azrul Amri true, the majority of the goals he made were balls that luckily arrived at his feets
This video made me just as impressed with Frank Lampard as i was with Anelka, truly the best midfielder in premier league history.
Small Shaq think Gerrard is on record saying Keane is the best midfielder in PL history.
In my opinion Lampard was painfully underrated despite the considerable acclaim he got
Its special to note how drogba was the assist king for some of the goals Anelka scored. No selfishness involved..
Frank Bus Yeah, this is what Chelsea player missing right now, they all want to score..really happy to see that Drogba reaction in final goal (19)
Who is here after the Anelka documentary?
@@nilsmatsgard2613 why do you say that? I saw the Docunentary too.
Interested to hear why
Anelka has to be top5 for me Chelsea strikers of all time. Love his time here. Super underrated because he likes to keep to himself.
Anelka always had a reputation for sulking and never settling at a club but when he came to us he never sulked once was very professional even when played out of position.
One of my favourite Chelsea squads. Back when we were one of the best teams in the world...
my favourite squad was 2012 i know we won the champions league its easy to pick that but everyone in the team just seemed they wanted to be there and the chemistry in the squad was second to none.there was no egos and every player played for the badge.thats how we won the champions league.heart
I love how this ended up turning into a Lampard highlight reel too 🤣
Nicolas Anelka was prolific. Whoever is reading this and going through addictions, depression, pain and loneliness. You will overcome this. God is with you
His CV looks awesome. Has played for some great clubs
He had some of that French finesse. That smoothness on the ball like Zidane.
I love this duet, Drogba Anelka.
Tammy found himself in a lot of the same positions as Anelka this season. Needs to build some composure and puts these chances away as well
Anelka was like 29 years old when we signed him lol. He was a seasoned pro with world class finishing abilities, Tammy is in his first ever premier league season. Take a break.
Justlooking actually not his first, his 2nd, played that one season at Swansea, he scored 7 EPL goals iirc
hakeem yusuf Yeah you’re right, I forgot but my point remains the same. He was like 18 in a horrible side, Anelka was a seasoned pro.
@@justlooking1087 this year Chelsea isn't horrible. Relax. It's inconsistent
RasenRendan comprehension skills my friend...I’m not talking about Chelsea.
He probably spent his best years at Chelsea. Never complained, always gave everything on the pitch. And a true bromance between Drogba, Malouda and Anelka.
Man I loved watching this guy. He’s the reason I chose 39 as my club number for 10 years
What a humble guy. Always gives credit to the passer. Cant tell how much i miss this squad tho 😁
The most prolific striker of our time! Scoring goals was soo soo easy for this guy! I miss him
@@ABQMagni5 why he always tap in? It is because of his positioning. That is one of the art that needed to be a good foward. A tap in also considered a goal. It doesn't matter how the goal was scored, it is all about the goal that count. If the goal was beautiful then it is a bonus.
@@aemonvengers5312 You obviously know football!! I was gonna write the same comment until I read yours
That last goal is criminally underrated. From the solo build up to the 🚀 shot !
What a goal.
One of my favorite striker!
He's ability and type of play you couldn't see anymore right now. I hope one day will be another Nicolas Anelka. A lil bit flick-goal is his best style. Love it always!
A true poacher, 17 goals inside the penalty area and 2 screamers
The Greatest Squad in English football I have witnessed. Such a shame they got robbed by Barcelona in 2009 they were the best team in the World that year by far.
@@mikmous "The greatest squad in english football I have witnessed". Shhhhh
2009 Barca was the stuff of legends with peak Guardiola as manager. What are you even saying friend?
malouda is every strikers dream winger, what a player he was, and what a natural finisher anelka was.
Keep doing your good work Chelsea!💙 My whole family loves you guys!!💪🏼 Carry on your good work guys!!!!💪🏼💙
What a player!!?
Calm in front of goal with deadly finishing skill...
Miss him💙
This video just shows how good lampard is too. Those assists 🔥
Master of the “inside the 6 yard box” goal
this video make me feel full of smiles when i was a kid saw this team on weekend.it's too fast 2008-2020 i'm around 12 yrs old.miss old time, miss my childhood. ❤💙
Anelka39 Top Quality striker with the pace and clinical finish ability always a joy to watch💙⚽⚽👐👏
He never gets included he should never be forgotten one of Chelseas best ever st
Last season CR7 in EPL.
Anelka : 19 goals
CR7 : 18 goals
Iconic.
Yeah but Ronaldo had broken leg and he paused 40% (or more) of all season.
@@palaciosoplica7081 and sometimes that's how things happen, it was unfortunate for CR7.......so Anelka got the golden boot in the end
What baffles me is that Anelka, who I've always loved and admired as a player, can win the golden boot but Hazard never did. I guess with Salah as competition it was impossible, but I wonder, what about the seasons previous to 2018/19. Playmaker of the season is also prestigious.
Anelka will and always be an enigma.
One of my favourite players.
His presence, wit in the box, composure, pace and skill.
He has a distinct style and attitude about him.
I think he was respected amongst his fellow professionals.
Great player 👊
I remember doing his wings celebration as a kid and no one knew what I was doing..
what this showed me was sublime Lampard and Malouda were jesus!
and i'm an arsenal fan.
insane!
You can see theres a lot of lampards involvement in every chelsea player goals . But they said Stevie G is better than him. Dont get me wrong , gerrard was a beast and a legend but you cant compare this 2 .
@Ayaz Shaikh kelakar la fan liverpool ni . lampard tu gol lagi banyak dari striker tau . tiap season belas2 gol , kadang puluh . main role cm boleh dapat gol banyak tu . sampai Giggs penah ckap best midfielder kat epl adalah lampard sebab gol banyak sangat dari midfield lain , 3 kali title epl dia bagi kat chelsea . Gerrard ado? 17 tahun kat liverpool epl pun tak penah dakap 😂
@Ayaz Shaikh I agree with you still I would pick lamps in my team just bcos he is lamps, if I'm a winger or cam short he is the better option otherwise Gerrard was more complete defensive wise.
Ayaz Shaikh did you watch lampards game ? Did you watch him play bro? I watched him since he played for west ham. I watched him play before he came to chelsea. I also watched gerrard here and there every week. THERES NO DIFFERENCE in DEFENCE between these two. Lampard can defend just like gerrard , his work rate was the same. The only difference is the goal stats, assist, and title. Which is make lampard a better player. How can you say gerrard was a better player when lampard achieved everything ? Tell me this is not true ...
zulhairi azmin hahaha itu la aku ckp bro. Comparison budak2 liverpool ni mmg tk logik . Liverpool fans ni selalu compare gerrard pnya defend tu dgn lampard 😂😂. Cuba compare defend gerrard tu dgn goal and assist lampard . Logik ke ?Confirm2 la lampard lagi complete as a player 😂. Lampard tu da memang COMPLETE dari segi involvement dia dan goal and assist. Mana ade centre mid yg tkleh defend boss , wajib kena defend kalau roll centre mid. Kalau kau main bola mesti kau tau benda ni. Senang cite kau tgok game2 chelsea ucl 2012 la. Kau tgok mcm mana lampard defend. Benda ni kau tkyah jadi chelsea fans untuk tentukan yg lampard lagi complete player , kau hanya perlu jadi football fans . If you know football, you know lampard is more complete than gerrard . (Aku tuju semua ni untuk Ayaz Shaikh)
thanks page Admin ....your compilations have been fire
I like Drogba's reaction to Anelka's #18 goal. He was like' You better win the golden boot'. And then 19 goal is a screamer. Drogba's in awe shock.
Plz post Drogba's goals 2009/10
I love how his finishes are basically chips....beautiful
This season was so exciting I remember loving watching Deco, his dribbling was mesmerising 😄
Just reminds everyone how good Lamps was!
We need a Hazard 18/19 video.
Lampard was on Fire that Season, so many important involvements 🔥
That goal against Sunderland was brilliant one of the underrated goal
deserves an icon card in Fifa
@@softach if luis Hernandez got a legend card then Anelka deserves one. Anelka was way better.
Class player!! Him and Drogba played amazing together absolute brilliant to watch 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💥💥
one of the most underrated! but i liked his service! Drogba & Anelka together terrorised the EPL defence
Would love to see Diego Costa season w us.. Man was a beast too!
I love this season with ton of classic players.. formation and attack very creative.. drogba anelka lampard cech terry and others most dangerous attacking same like man united have tevez van persie adebayor omg..
My impression of Anelka before he came to Chelsea wasn't good, there had been controversies before, but he came to Chelsea and showed dedication, humility, and gosh, he even smiled. Is this the same guy? He wasn't a lost cause after all. ktbffh
What an interesting progressions. Scrappy and "lucky" goals at the start to worldies and bangers at the end of the season. Amazing what confidence can do.
Unforgotable Anelka 💪
Anelka did well for chelsea,
His best football time was at Chelsea...
His last goal was just incredible 🤩🤩🔥
angelka what a player back in the day. truly underrated.
I can’t stop watching it thousands of times 😊😇😍😫
Saw some amazing football from Malouda in this too, seriously underrated as an ex player for us
Lampard on fire with brilliant assist🔥
Arguably past his prime by the time he signed for us, but there is no denying he delivered this season big time
Man I miss old Chelsea days…Anelka was so calm & smooth..A sniper! That attack with Drogba was phenomenal..Again miss the Chelsea days
One of the best strikers for Chelsea Football Club.
week in week out used to sit scratching my head as to how we (city) had Nikki playing for us, what a player
Love Drogba for what he did for Anelka. I remember them playing up front Drogba was never greedy to score goals. Wasn’t afraid to lose no.9 role just did what manager asked them to. I miss the old Chelsea Lamps bringing the discipline and spirit back to the club! Remember lads play every game like it’s the finals ;)
One of my favourite strikers, amazing finisher
Qui est la apres la video de momo?
loved the diamond at chelsea drogba and anelka up front with lamps behind them what a squad
Amazing hatrick: steals Alex’s goal from an offside position, 6 yard open goal, hits keeper and somehow goes in 4:47
Prolific and lethal Anelka one of my favorite strikers
Wow!!! Good content on soccer, I luv it.
What an amazing strike force we had that year!
Forgotten heroes, everyone around Anelka was so sweet.
Lampard was utterly sublime with those touches and assists. God-tier confidence, ability and class. Miss that presence in midfield with wimps nowadays too scared to pass ahead or take any responsibility on the ball.
Butterfly boiz. Loved Niko when he was with us. The strike force of Drogs Niko and Malouda was incredible
Such an intelligent finisher, always knew where the goal was. Proper striker ol' Nic.
one of my all time favorite strikers.
Aneka was a finisher🔥🔥🔥
One of my favorite shirts what a season he had
People forget how good this chelsea was, the chelsea galaticos! Plus Deco was top class
Such great positioning this chap had!
Fantastic player ANELKA 👌
He had his fall outs with managers due to his quite rebellious character during his earlier years, more or less underachiever considering his immense talent. Always have been fan of his and very happy that we have his mature version for few years. The partnership with Didie and Malluda with Frank right behind them was a joy to watch.
his goal vs Wigan with the commentary was unreal hahaha
The days when we had an amazing goal scoring striker
I know this is all about Nicolas but LAMPARD was ON FIRE! TOP TOP TOP
He is so special a player👍🏻
He was explosive. Top player. In his time at Chelsea. They were a very good team. Very solid but can play excellent football.
This guy honestly could have been a ballon dor winner
I think he played his best football at Chelsea, mature composed and seemed happy.
His first season at Arsenal was also really impressive.
It will be better if he scored that penalty against Man United.
@@abdulrahmangaiye7296 strangely though he often looked quite down when on the pitch.
Such a shame as Wenger wanted him and Henry up front together. Would have been a deadly partnership.
38 goals in 125 appearances. Anelka is so overrated. 157 in 508...
