Mechwarrior Modding: Custom enemy builds in missions

  • I figured how to add custom enemy mech builds and vehicle/building textures so far this mod is 50% complete. map used in this video Mountain 4. first Loki build has 2x Heavy Large Lasers, 1x SMRM10 and 2x LBX-AC5, second build has 2x UAC5 and 2x Heavy Large Lasers
    Things that still need to be addressed:
    .Overhaul the remaining missions, still on going.
    .Campaign black market, I couldn't find a way to edit it anywhere yet.
    .Weapons on vehicles need to be updated, as I have changed the regular and pulse lasers for mechs.
    .A larger variety of trail/fire/flyby/hit sounds to accommodate the different AC/Missile weapons.
    .Figure out how the map LOD system works, I figured how to add custom detail textures now all that is left is how get rid of the LOD to make the maps themselves look as good as possible.
    .New weapon names need to be added to the mechlab strings, which I'm leaving to the end when everything is finalized.
    .Proper sound effect for proper visual effect, ex. building destruction, mech part smoke etc...
    .Remove LOD from all models:
    Map objects (trees, rocks...) done
    Vehicles - done
    Mechs - some
    Buildings - some
    Maps - not yet
    .Upscale all textures, still on going.
    .Port over the proper laser effects from my Vengeance mod, still on going.
    .Bonus, get Warhammer into the game, in progress.

    Nice, definitely something missed from Mechwarrior 3. All the variants you'd encounter in the campaign.
