As a Delhiite it pains my heart to see these buildings going to dust ... The buildings I've been seeing since birth, the absolute aww I had whenever I'd ride on a scooter with my dad through these new delhi roads gawking at these architectural wonders... I knew my history but I never saw these as "angrez" or "bhartiya" these buildings were a part of my city's heritage and I loved them just like that ... As someone who's lived and breathed Delhi since forever nothing makes my heart cry more than this dreaded central vista project ... And all for what ??? Just for a man and his selfish desires to write HIS NAME everywhere ?!?!!!! That's too low a price for these Invaluable treasures !!!

I had goosebumps listening your this Tippandin …. Probably the most critical and retrospective to the “blind followers”
The armed forces bands just do these things to keep the motivation levels high, good 1-2 months of practice and keep it going in early morning winters. It is to motivate each other and to keep the morale high. Naval Band performed this kind of show for their contingents. And moreover, this is never going to be the part of actual ceremony. But rest of your analysis is just awesome, great job, kudos!
Agreed 💯 the armed forces try real hard not to be affected by the political climate or drama. Yes they need to limit appeasement before they too get hoodwinked and later say ‘well we were following orders’ something echoed in the Nuremberg trials.
