I love the homemade syrup. I didn't make it this spring so I'm down to my last 2 pints. Last ltime I made it I made almost 3 gallons of syrup which means I pulled about 120 gallons of sap from 10 of the Maple trees on my lot. I't's a lot of work but oh so delicious.
Our weather has changed dropping into the 40's low 50's at night. Now the forecast for the weekend in 80+ and sunny. It has rained every weekend for the last 5 weeks. I think I'm going to stay inside and have an Autumn Margarita.
