I picked one up, seems better than the old footswitch. Not quite as heavy so I hope it doesn't dance around on the floor too much while I'm busy at the radio. Let you know how I did after a year's contesting, but thanks for a fantastic tip.
Hi Kyle! Happy new year!! thanks for de vid! I bought de heil cable for mic and ptt (Cc1 XLR 1 b ) and a zoom footswitch.. to set up on my ic7300... but.. the pedal has inverted polarity, so I have to press to not transmit, and release it to transmit.... Do you know how to invert de polarity or a trick to solve that????thanksss 73 LU1APS
Great idea for the footswitch.
Dude. Tattoo pedal, absolutely genius. Cheers, 73!
Excellent option for the Tattoo Pedal. This should keep the arthritis pain away from my fingers. Thanks for the great video 73

Kyle, I liked the rundown of foot switches, very informative!
Thanks Arne
Very helpful video. Well done 👍
Thanks!
Every good video and I am just now getting my headset ready for my Ft 891.
I don't see the discriptions. I like the Yamaha. I would think a headset microphone would be great for VOX use. Great video, thank you.
Descriptions?
@@AA0Z You said there would be links in the descriptions. Usually you click on read more.
They are there....I added the Dragon Hawk link and Radio Sport headsets.
@@AA0Z Great, thank you!
Good info Kyle!
Great tip on the tattoo pedals. That is really affordable.
Enjoyed the video. I checked the DragonHawk Tattoo Artists Foot Pedal and unfortunately, all sold out. I like the idea. Any suggestions?

Two options. Switch the ring and tip on the TRS connector or open up the pedal and swap the wires.
@@AA0Z Thanks a lot for your answer!!!! I think I prefer to do the first option... I will do it, and will share the vid !!
Curse you sir! Pretty sure you just cost me money. 😂
