Great presentation of the mine. It really helped showing the mine map throughout the video to show where you were at in the mine to orient the viewer. Hopefully you find good values in your samples.
@@mineoperator It was a great idea! I've had to live vicariously through the mine exploring and prospecting channels while working overseas so have watched most of the channels. Often times as a viewer you get disoriented or can't grasp how the mine is laid out just from the footage. The map repeatedly shown throughout in different sections of the mine really helps.
so, there is a tech that could keep your comms. battery powered repeaters, either wifi extenders or radio. as you develop a mine you can also use "Leaky Cable" which is coax that leaks signal. this is used in elevator shafts , tunnels, etc.
Great info @nwliving! We have several mines we're exploring and looking to develop. Each one has its own set of challenges. We're gonna explore each option you suggested based on the mines logistics. Any insights and recommendations you give are greatly appreciated!
How right you are. Exploration in the late 80's show low values on the 3rd level. So far at this mine, the best values are between the surface and sections of the 2nd level.
Our schedules didn't align Max. Otherwise, we would've invited you out to join. We had to get ready for the TV show/filming. We need to explore the rest of the mine that we haven't seen. Also, we have several other mines coming up that we'd love to have you join us.
I am impatiently waiting for the next video and assay results. When I commented on the last video I was thinking that you should put a camera on your head and just do your thing. I had no idea that you could read minds. A little long but not nearly long enough.
It's a new skill I recently learned 😉. You got it. The next video on this mine will be a deep dive on the geology, assay results, and some history on this mine.
The fault caused it. Being an epithermal type gold deposit and how the fluids were deposited contribute as well. Looking closely, you can see the direction the fault has moved, which, in our case, is horizontally north and south.
So great to see a mine exploration done by actual miners. This video was a fantastic presentation. Well done, fellas. MO ROCKS!!!
Thanks, next time we'll have better lighting. Glad you enjoyed that crazy adventure.

Thanks, Desert Rider Ukverun! It was a new idea we had. You'll like the follow-up video.

I agree the map was great
Thank you for an amazing journey! Looking forward to your next video and seeing more of the mine. Thank you!
I'm glad you enjoyed the journey, Keith!
Pretty cool exploration, that's one heck of a wide vein!

excellent video.
I'd love to see this exploration redone with proper lighting!
I agree 👍. That just might happen.
Very cool 😎 thank you
Thank you Jamison. Can't wait to show you a gold mine that's vertical, with some really high grade gold. Coming soon.
nice sir....
Something that stood out to me on the 3rd level was the lack of oxidation. You may get good values but should expect less free gold.

That was amazing, thanks so much for sharing
I'm glad you enjoyed it Peter. Adventures like that need to be shared. Not everyone can get down that hole and experience that craziness.
Yep, better lighting would be nice on future explorations. Gly has a great set up he uses.
I very much enjoyed this chapter thank you.
You got it 😉. We'll go back to explore the rest of the mine with new lighting. Thanks for watching!

Looks like fun that's what I like to do right there. Hope those samples pan out.

Hi frome Mexico.. I hope you guys have a great work..
Hi 👋 Ez and Lj! Great hearing from you again. There's so much to say but we have to wait.
I have a question, a mining lamp that you recommend, that lasts more than 12 hours in continuous work.
Thank and God bless you all..
Looks good. Let me know when you want a test ore batch done!
Absolutely 👍

Nice Adventure are you going to crush and process the samples always like to see gold going to be doing some of my own this week thanks for the video
Hi John, yes we are. We're finding gold. Will show you some soon.
Cant believe they were using 1× for the rungs, wow😮
I know right. That was fairly common.
You find any values in the samples you found?
Kewl video but the light could def been better but u knew that. thx for sharing.
I have a replacement ready to go. Thanks for watching OffGridLife 420!
If 300 is the farthest underground you've been in a mine, it sounds like you need to visit Brent at Cerro Gordo and check out the 900 level :D
Vertically, yes. Horizontally, 1.5 miles. Ya, we need to visit Brent.
Need to have boys walking around out there on the Hills looking for gems
Was the map you had drawn by the explorers from the 80s?
Yes, it was. We thought the map they drew could've been better so we may draw our own.
How is that wall so smooth?? Did they cut the Rock that way, or the fault line did that?
The fault caused it. Being an epithermal type gold deposit and how the fluids were deposited contribute as well. Looking closely, you can see the direction the fault has moved, which, in our case, is horizontally north and south.
1:05 Looks rough there.
Yes, it was Josh. It seemed like it just kept on going. I can't wait to go back & explore the rest of this mine!
BETTER LIGHTING PLEASE....
You got it. I was so disappointed when I watched the footage. I already have the new super bright headlamp ready to go 😉
@@mineoperator I THINK YOU CAN CHANGE WHITE BALANCE OR EXPOSURE AND GET BETTER LIGHT IN THE CAMERA ITSELF...GREAT JOB..
at 23:3o that timber has eagle or hawk shit on it, guess could be an owl too
Yep, could be owl poo 💩 too.
How did you get such a detailed map of all the workings ?
The patented mine owner provided reports/maps from previous exploration done in the 1980s. He would like to reopen the mine.
