Double Dragon II: The Revenge is a beat'em-up game starring Billy (or Bimmy, depending on the game version) and Jimmy Lee in a quest to get revenge on a gang for killing Billy's girlfriend. Their journey starts on city streets, but it eventually goes to a variety of places like a helicopter, a dark forest, a haunted mansion, and a final fight bordering on the supernatural. You must play the hardest difficulty, Supreme Master, in order to reach the true final boss.
One interesting feature of the game is that some very powerful moves can only be used from a crouching position, usually after landing from a jump or getting up from a knockdown. This is why you see the player jump so frequently.
This run by Xipo ( tasvideos.org/... ) plays the game with only 1 player. It is slower than the two-player run ( tasvideos.org/... ) largely because it can't use tricks like the two players hitting each other with flying knees. However, there are still some interesting tricks and strategies in this movie well worth watching.

Billy's knee is more dangerous than any weapon known to man.
It will be balanced out in the next patch probably
his body from the waist down is incredibly disproportionate compared to his fists or face, yet the kneecap is his most devastating attack.
Arrows are his only weakness

I remember doing the jumping spin kick all the time playing this game as a kid but would be super happy on the rare occasion I'd accidentally get the jumping knee move. It makes me super happy to see it absolutely wrecking shop through the whole game.
I like how people try the Jumperdejump but when Fiona does the likkerdelik like a Kabouter it ruins the RNG of madness :)
I love how casual the dialogue is at the end there, as though they were talking about the weather.
"That night, an angel descended from the heavens...."
An angel appears, resurrects a dead lady, and no one thinks it's weird.
A: Double Dragon 2 takes place after an apocalypse
B: The Dragons traversed through an evil temple that had eyes on the walls
C: They took on their own shadows
D: They just finished a fight with some guy with evil power and when he was defeated the power left his body up into the sky
This is the world they live in.
@@Supperdude9 reminds me in Double Dragon Neon, the game starts with one of the brothers saying 'Aw man, not this again!' when Marion gets abducted. They're just kind of used to this shit.
When the Double Dragon brothers aren’t busy, they hangout in a bar with Marion and Cindy. They drink beer, play pool, and listen to Billy Squier on the jukebox.
Man there was just something about that BLAST sound working in tandem with them flying across the screen that is so satisfying 😂

I'm 42 now, I got this game for Xmas when I was around 10, most memorable Xmas ever. My personal best was 26 minutes on single player, supreme master.. I thought I was good and impressed my friends after school then lol.

Used to play this game religiously as a kid and never saw the jumping straight up knee (where you don’t move forward, like at 1:56). Thats awesome

The difficulty doesn’t make sense! 🤔
The enemies don’t die from one super knee move in supreme difficult!
Try for yourself, even at the first level on supreme difficult (which is the difficult level to completely finish the game) they take at least 2 hurricane kicks or 2 super knee moves to die!
Take a knee cadet
The way they allow you to do unlimited knees is really cheating
