I heard these words "you didn't built it" and my words back are YES I DID, I have done more to put America back to work then you Mr. President my product is made in the USA and has helped American's get through your Presidency.

As a small business owner when I originally heard this come from the President I was so upset and disappointed at the arrogance of a single man I didn't have the words for the outrage I felt. Telling me I didn't build it, I have have financed my business by working overtime and holidays sacrificing time with my family and sleep for myself.

I never got why people said his comment was "taken out of context". I've asked everyone that said that to me if I'm taking it out of context, what do you think he meant to say? I've gotten zero response from that question.
And I have another to raise to quote Dennis Prager: "If success in business is collective according to Obama, why is it that when a business fails it's only the responsibility of the owners?"

I get what Obama meant (instead of being sooo ready to jump on him & accuse him). He meant that noone becomes successful on their own. We get help: from God 1st of all (He works in our lives), education, parents and so forth. And those very things help build the country, too. So many wanna not be humble & forget that they had help. Not a person in this world succeeds w/out some sort of help & we should be grateful for it.

This is just ridiculous. He was talking about infrastructure that makes your business possible not the actual business itself. Although.. I could make a case that you didn't build your business alone as well. You had help either from friends, family, a loan, a grant, a tax break etc. You most likely didn't build your business all by yourself and if you did, it's a very rare case indeed.
He was speaking of everything that makes your business possible not your business. Grow up and stop whining.
Don't blame the firefighter then for not taking care of the damage made by the arsonist fast enough. Bush' solution of spending more money we did not have is certainly an onerous concern of Obama. Fortunately, Obama has held fast, maintaining government spending to historically low levels and not raising taxes in 4 years.

He is right in a way. It's impossible to get far in life this day in age without atleast some sort of figure or some sort of thungt in someone's life.
Ex: an abusive low life father could give his son inspiration to not be like him. Instead of becoming a low-life but like his father, the son stays determined, getting almost straight a's and soon before he knows it becomes a senator, CEO, or even a president.
