Since Tekken contracted Arika to work on their online netcode for Tekken 8, I hope they put in Skullo in the game. It's a stretch, but it would be so sick.

I loved SFEX and I hated the gougi system and pretty much any fighting games with gems and some such nonsense to "balance" the characters but dang it if this match didn't look super fun!
I’ve always felt like SFxT’s gem system left a stigma for other fighters with similar features. But trust me, the Gougi deck system makes a whole lot of sense once you understand how it can work with certain characters and matchups. At a high level, the game becomes very technical which essential brings the excitement.

I got the first FEXL at the reccomemdation of someone I used to talk to on Twitter, like when the OSTs were different. I liked how unique all the characters were, the only thing for me was that since I was so used to SFV combat at the time, it was kinda hard to learn the different style of combos and juggling this game had. There also werent many people online besides the same players that was too good for me, so I eventually lost interest, about a few months after Area dropped.
These players showcase good gameplay really well though
I kinda felt that way too. I was very active during SFV s1-3. I was only playing FEXL for fun just off the merit of a fan of the EX series. I’ve never intended on labbing the game to this extent until during COVID. Most of the popular tech were already part of the game since day 0. Talk about hidden in plain sight lol.

No, she actually got buffed. And check out the recent EVO Japan 2024 FEXL side tournament. The person that got 2nd is a Sanane player. His name is Machy and he’s the world’s strongest Sanane. We have a few matches featuring him in our channel
Im just curious, is Area a rushdown character? And is she easy to play in this game?
Area is very rushdown heavy. She has setplays for days with no resources needed.
She’s pretty easy to pick up if you play on progressive mode which essentially means easier motion inputs. Pretty much every top player in the world plays on progressive as classic as too much restrictions with its negative edge.
I’m working on an Area guide as I type. Hopefully I get release it by the first week of June 🙏🏾

That neutral game at the start, at "hi level", looked like low level play. Just spamming lows, because it's the only option. It says a lot about the game's balance.
Neutrals in all fighting games spam light attacks. And the cast has the ability to do it. Seems pretty balance in my eyes.
