Yeah, Altare is somewhat like Choco-sen, their voice can't be turned off. Though the first time I hear Altare, immediately I'm reminded of Astel's ikemen voice. Especially that moment when he teased Seto Miyako with it.
I was there when Choco-sen was first starting out. I was not new to VTubers back then so I've heard a lot of unique voices. But when I first heard her stream I had to pause and contemplate about what just happened. I've never heard anything that has that effect of sultry, seductive, mature, a bit playful it's insane. And the way she speaks she mixes this highschool girl, adult professional woman and even a bit of hostess in her speech pattern it's hard to explain.

I totally understand what Astel means with always ASMR. That was my first impression until I watched him dubbing characters in Twilight Princess LMAO. Hope Astel knows that he has his own charm as well and can’t be replaced, even tho I don’t understand half of what he says🥺💕

I watched the original stream and with whatever Japanese I understood, Astel was amazed how he and Altare have similar likes and dislikes (he also revealed that he's also lactose intolerant) to the point that he believed that Altare is the English version of himself and that his chat were teasing that he and Altare are actually the same person LOL. .... until the Hobbies portion came, where Astel's inferiority complex went worse when he read that Altare can play the cello LOOOOL. Never mind the height and the voice -- it's the cello that got him LOL

They go to each other's streams as they can, Altare would raid Astel's streams after his, making bets w/ each other ("Tempantsu" L4D4 collab), etc.😁
