Farming simulator has came a long ways. Although I’ve only played 19 and 22 I love 22 cause you can shift and hire people to drive your stuff and everything
FS15 is where it all started for me and ever since then been my favorite game! It's one of the only games where love and care is put into it and more about releasing an product that consumers want rather then for profit like EA.
maybe you are too young or playing it too short to feel this but farming is becoming worse within the years like EA. No mayor updates only crappy filling updates with stolen content from mods which were doing the job better. We waited around two releases for official ingame gearbox and we are still waiting for soil physics since 2017. Last graphic improvement was ambient occulusion which was something new in game industry around 2010s but now is really common thing in games but they were calling it graphic revolution moreover the game engine is having huge problems with optimalization but they will not change it. Willy-nilly but i must say giants are not far from Ea in terms of milking money from gamers
As someone already said, I think they're actually somewhat lazy in making improvements because there's no competition for Farming Simulator series. Idk about other things but the easiest pointer is the graphics I think, imo it can look much much much better and realistic with better lighting and distant objects and trees actually looking like trees at a distance and not some cardboard looking props. Just look at other modern games.
The coolest thing was: You could essentially get it for free if you get it from a library, 'cause you only had to put the CD-ROM in for the download, not to play!
2015 is the one I play. I’ve got $18 million in the bank. My kids offered to get me the most recent version. I told them thanks but no. I’d invested so many hours upgrading tractors. Equipment. Making hay. Buying windmills. Raising cows chickens and sheep. I didn’t want to start all over at ground zero with a new game. Even if it did have better graphics and equipment. It’s nice to come home after a shitty day of work and just mow or harvest the fields and drink a beer.
Started with 13 back in January 2014 back when I was a month off 8 loved the ones in between 2019 was my favourite I loved Ravenport hidden away no colossal buildings like in Elm Creek reminded me of my home in North Queensland Australia FS2022 ehh it’s alright graphics are nicer but it seems over saturated too green and even the sugarcane ain’t right didnt work to begin with harvesting and it isnt even in rows anymore and taking away the interior in houses that’s abit disappointing

2011 was my fav lol and 2013 both is fire and will never get me anyone to play 22 or 25 when it releases.. I would play 2011 or 2013 but not the new ones..
@@storm8216 if someone makes a mod that makes FS13 looks better and run a little smoother then I’d be playing that every single day I’d quit my job lol, when the game came out all I remember is playing FS13 and fs15 killed the franchise by adding in such little dumb Details yes logging was nice but not necessary for a farming game
my first was 15 and i loved it it was so fun I convinced my father to get cows and now we have a cow farm with about 60 cows including steers and calfs
2013 looks very good for the time. FS 15 was my first FS game I played. Man I miss the UK silage earnings in those games. They changed it to be more reasonable because it was too easy
I played every pc/console game since ‘15 and looking back I didn’t even realize how muggy looking 11-15 was lol. That jump from 15 to 17 was HUGE to me and so was 17-19.
The 2015 version is the most beautiful, I recommend it, it is both cheap and very high quality. In 2017, however, in 2019 and 2022, how much work can you use, neither the field nor the tractor, and those who consume the game give you very little money.
I went from 13 to 15 to 17 to 22 and theres so many changes, not just graphically, but the AI helpers are so much more useful. Now if there was a way to slow down machine damage without a mod, that would be great.
