    The first is Karvan Coffee - Colombia Jairo Arcila Villarazo
    Origin: San Adolfo, Huila
    Processing: Natural Anaerobic with Tartaric Acid & Cinnamon
    Varietal: 100% Pink Bourbon
    Altitude: 1650 - 1700 MASL
    Taste notes:
    Boozy - Cinnamon - Ripe Fruit
    The Pink Bourbon coffee varietal is a rare and coveted find. It is a
    standout because of its striking colour but also because of its sweet,
    complex flavour.
    lairo Arcila made sure that the day his coffee was picked that it went to
    be processed immediately. During the anaerobic fermentation period
    tartaric acid and cinnamon were added before it was dried on raised
    beds.
    A component of our Christmas blend which has been saved to produce
    an exclusive roast of a limited 16 250g bags.

    The second is Karvan Coffee - Ethiopia Shantawene Gr.1
    Origin: Sidamo
    Processing: Washed
    Varietal: Heirloom
    Altitude: 1900 - 2300 MASL
    In the Cup: Apricot - Jasmine - Bergamot
    Brothers Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo founded Daye Bensa, a coffee grower and exporter in Ethiopia. Daye Bensa exports coffee from its farm, in the Shantawene Village, as well as from "out-growers" (or smallholders) villages. Daye Bensa rewards the top three farmers from each of the three villages with certificates and premiums, recognizing them for consistently
    delivering high-quality cherries.
    This is a beautifully complex and sophisticated coffee and its quality is
    indicative of the effort that has gone into growing it.
