Great video again. The roads on Cambridge are absolutely shocking

Thanks. Yes, there’s certainly a need for some resurfacing; the prominence of cycling in the city makes for interest.

Just wondering how you planned your day
You were parked up out of the city then where you intended to park was full then you used up 30 mins driving around
After you collect the passengers did you know that where they was going you wouldn't require another break?
I passed my theory hazard perception and module 2 and would like to get on the coaches but this is something I hadn't considered all tourist spots will be full of coaches doing exactly the same thing if you didn't know the city or destination you could be driving around for ages trying to find somewhere to park
    That's a nice looking coach

Well done on passing. You'll always have that now.
There's very limited parking for coaches in Cambridge, which is particularly bad - so we generally head for a lay-by. I could have taken a slightly shorter (but narrower) road back to the collection point - but I had plenty of time. We'd only driven for about 80 minutes to get here, so we had more than enough time to get back, and then back to the yard after that (that's the bit that can get forgotten). Don't forget that it's only moving that counts as driving, the rest is shift time you're sat on the cross axes (which is also important, but for other reasons) - we'd sat in traffic for maybe 10 minutes of that 30. I also leave long enough to get to the pick-up point so I'm a bit early, especially if it looks like rain. You could make that into a part of a split break if you had a long journey. But you can get a very long way in 4 and a half hours - but I always start to get nervous when it gets above 4 - which is very rare on the sort of work we do. Lovely vehicle and one I enjoy driving, especially on the motorway.

Just to add: Google maps (street view) is really handy for plotting your route; the last bit to the destination and to find stopping places. There's some apps too for coach parking, and a good google maps low bridge overlay.
