I think Stratovarius plagiarized Iron Maiden.The same guitar part starts at the 2 minute mark of The Clairvoyant. edit because i made a mistake. said 40 sec but the similarities start at the 2minute mark. The clairvoyant is slower in pitch but any Maiden fan will hear that the similarities between moving forward fearlessly because they are Uncanny.

He continued "composing" music for the series because he was close friends with lots of influential people (including Hironobu Kageyama, to whom he still works to this day as an arranger), but he simply got too cocky with attempting to plagiarize songs from then recently released Hollywood films and finally was shafted.

According to some research done on Kanzenshuu (and confirmed by one Kei17), it turns out that the background track that traced No Leaf Clover was indeed a Kenji Yamamoto arrangement too, only that it was unused (originally made for Burst Limit) and part of a larger library of tracks that Bamco still had the rights to. That may explain why it was a beta version-only affair, because it was a stock track and had nothing to do with the actual BGM of the final game release.
Wonder how many other tracks are "borrowed", recently read that Android 16's theme on Super Butoden is plagiarized from the Gremlins 2 theme. I can hear it.

The same song (Ebony Wings) is present in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with a different name - Jet Black Wings and they are a remix. How did the No Leaf Clover rip off even happen? Yamamoto was gone long before Xenoverse was even an idea. Plus the game didn’t even get a proper soundtrack release either (because it’s not Yamamoto). Were they seriously trying to imitate his actions or something? Even as they were removing his stuff from everything. EDIT: It’s addressed a bit in the video, and apparently it was a beta-only thing.
Ok, the X-Men one can possibly be excused. Like you mentioned, it's likely both songs used the same stock sounds/melodies from a library. Quite a few of the Budokai tracks have stock samples in them. From vocals to drum beats to even guitar riffs. I've heard the same drum beat and short guitar after from "Spark of Fighting" in the Phantom boss theme in Devil May Cry and only the drum beat in the combat training music from Spider-Man for the PS1. And the weird chanting vocals in "Warrior From an Unknown Land" I've heard in other game tracks, like in Devil May Cry's "Lock & Load" theme. The vocal at the start of "Do It At All Risk" was also used in the Devil May Cry Nightmare boss theme Fun fact, the "Vs Super Buu" track contains two different song riffs/melodies. One is the Rush song you mentioned and the other is heard a bit later and is basically the main theme of Toto's "Stranger in Town". Speaking of Toto, their song "Child's Anthem" was ripped off for the Spirit Bomb music during Budokai 1's cutscenes. Three more blatant examples of Yamamoto's shenanigans in the Budokai series that you could maybe do a third video on along with the Toto tracks. Budokai 3's "Embrace the Sky" and Journey's "Be Good to Yourself", Budokai 3's "12 AM Shuffle" and "Ain't Life Grand" by Slash's Snake Pit and Budokai 1's "Like a Burning Wind" and "The Alien" again by Slash's Snakepit. There's so many songs he "borrowed" stuff from, it's insane.
Nothing was ripped off from Toto and Tower of Power since they were the ones who even performed the re-arrangements of their own stuff on those sessions.
When his most popular stuff is plagiarized, the original material is more than likely mediocre. And it’s doubtful if there’s even any considering he’s stolen menu music of all things before.
The thing that sucks the most for me is that I used to love and praise Kenji Yammamoto until I realized how much of his music was blatant rip offs. With that being said, his instrumentation was still top notch and the few original works he produced were still good.(Unless the few I can think of like Ssj3 Goku or Majin Vegeta's theme from Super Butoden - Final Bout was a rip off as well...)

One of the few instances where it probably was copied but was actually changed enough that it isnt plagiarism. One of the songs in the last dragonball sounded like a second song aswell. It was the one ripped off from cowboy bebop. It also sounded like ooingo boingos "who do you want to be today"

How did the No Leaf Clover rip off even happen? Yamamoto was gone long before Xenoverse was even an idea.
Plus the game didn’t even get a proper soundtrack release either (because it’s not Yamamoto).
Were they seriously trying to imitate his actions or something? Even as they were removing his stuff from everything.

Ok, the X-Men one can possibly be excused. Like you mentioned, it's likely both songs used the same stock sounds/melodies from a library. Quite a few of the Budokai tracks have stock samples in them. From vocals to drum beats to even guitar riffs.
I've heard the same drum beat and short guitar after from "Spark of Fighting" in the Phantom boss theme in Devil May Cry and only the drum beat in the combat training music from Spider-Man for the PS1. And the weird chanting vocals in "Warrior From an Unknown Land" I've heard in other game tracks, like in Devil May Cry's "Lock & Load" theme. The vocal at the start of "Do It At All Risk" was also used in the Devil May Cry Nightmare boss theme
Fun fact, the "Vs Super Buu" track contains two different song riffs/melodies. One is the Rush song you mentioned and the other is heard a bit later and is basically the main theme of Toto's "Stranger in Town". Speaking of Toto, their song "Child's Anthem" was ripped off for the Spirit Bomb music during Budokai 1's cutscenes.
Three more blatant examples of Yamamoto's shenanigans in the Budokai series that you could maybe do a third video on along with the Toto tracks. Budokai 3's "Embrace the Sky" and Journey's "Be Good to Yourself", Budokai 3's "12 AM Shuffle" and "Ain't Life Grand" by Slash's Snake Pit and Budokai 1's "Like a Burning Wind" and "The Alien" again by Slash's Snakepit.
There's so many songs he "borrowed" stuff from, it's insane.
Nothing was ripped off from Toto and Tower of Power since they were the ones who even performed the re-arrangements of their own stuff on those sessions.

When his most popular stuff is plagiarized, the original material is more than likely mediocre.
And it’s doubtful if there’s even any considering he’s stolen menu music of all things before.

The thing that sucks the most for me is that I used to love and praise Kenji Yammamoto until I realized how much of his music was blatant rip offs. With that being said, his instrumentation was still top notch and the few original works he produced were still good.(Unless the few I can think of like Ssj3 Goku or Majin Vegeta's theme from Super Butoden - Final Bout was a rip off as well...)
