serious question, wont double intake cams on the fxr increase power? i have planned to do it on my raider 150. (same engine as fxr just fuel injected and running on coolant) but in oder to put in the cams im gonna have some assureance and cam data first..

oh yea and the gxr150 have the same engine but with diffrent specs such as domed piston and bigger intake cams degrees. My plan is to swap the piston with gsxr one, and moving the standard intake cam to the exhaust and finally put the gsxr intake cam in the normal position.

so my question is.. will i see gain in power on standard timing marking or i need to have it dialed? i will put a racing ecu so tuning isnt a issue

Hmmm I haven't tried two intake cams but I would think it may have to much duration for exhaust applications. Will need to advance ex side to avoid piston to valve contact.
I normally just get the stock cams reground with a race grind, more lift ect and then you just need to reshim and set up timing for more power.
