PBS was a very good singer. He had sung so many songs and which were hit in those days. The melodious voice of PBS highly suited to Rajkumar. Then why was PBS boycotted and Rajkumar started singing? It is highly pathetic that PBS was neglected by the Kannada industry whose contribution was once great.
Yes, we have many telugu singers in telugu states..pbs could not got enough opportunities in telugu like ghantasala , spb , rama krishna , am raja..

Mahesh Patil , Kannada film land is already in peak since many years. Only media is not giving due credit it deserves. They are giving more coverage to masala films of other languages. Kannada film land is producing very good Content oriented films since many years. It is the only filmland in India which has survived competition from films of 5 languages and still going strong unlike Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi , Assamese films which could not withstand onslaught of Bollywood films. Last year we have produced 185 films next only to Tamil ( 187 films ) and also success Percentage is more here than in any other language. Kannadigas should realise this and encourage more and more of our films.
