I have the spearhead box of cities still laying around in my pile of shame. I will rewatch this video when I decide to start painting them. Solid paint scheme and the result is amazing.

I am happy to hear that I can help reducing the pile of shame a little 😉

Thanks Adam! :) Brown pants and(!) red uniforms. I think they are well prepared for the diorama 😜

Hi ! Cool video. Quick question here. How do you do consistent scratches with your paint? I keep messing it up: if the brush is too small, no paint comes off. If too big it makes big sploches. If the paint is too thick, it makes big streaks. If too thin, it runs. If I load my brush too much, I end up layering. If too little, I do nothing.

Essentially you need to have a good sharp tip on your brush. The size actually matters less than having a sharp tip. Then you need the right paint consistency. It should be something close to layer consistency ( so thinner than a basecoat, but thicker than a glaze).
Finally it is all about the pressure you apply with the tip of the brush, ideally you should barely touch the tip to the surface.
Once you figure it out once it is actually quite easy to do, but it is hard to get at first and difficult to explain 😅

@@ph3lansminiatures Thanks for your time man! Yeah I have only cheap brushes that I struggle to keep pointy for long. I'll keep all that in mind :D
