Shout to all my peeps with the 2013 Xbox one that still working 😭
Gave it to my brother, shits on life support but he takes good care of it.
Mine still looks brand new, I don't like selling my consoles, I have 16 different consoles.
Yo dude it worked, I threw it out and now it’s finally working again🙏
@@mxr_johnson I prefer Xbox, it was the start of my childhood.
The Xbox 180(I like to call it the "original Xbox" instead) was the first ever Xbox console I played and I would play it for ages and it was amazing
"My Xbox is laggy"
Me with the original Xbox: *ANOTHER FRIEND, oh wait no nvm*
W, the original xbox was fire. I wasn’t born or even old enough to play it when it was new or popular but I grew up playing Enter the Matrix, Prince of Persia, and GTA SA on it. I must say, not bad for me being a 2004 baby. Basically skipped the xbox 360 years for a ps3 and went straight to xbox one from the og Xbox.
@@Omgkhii yeah i watched playthroughs of games on it, a beast console for its time
"if not throw the bloody thing in the bin"got me
my Xbox has been pretty buggy for the past year or so i have no clue why... oh i know it's because it's a 14 year old 360 and its dustier than my great grandma's apartment before she died
I still use my Xbox 360s really often and I think they aged really well :)
@@suckmypotato1855 dang man, sorry to hear that, I have 3 red ringed Xbox 360 slims and 1 working slim and 2 360 elites that still work
Sama here man, mine rivals PS4's in terms of the decibels it's reaching. If only they were easier to open
Sweet will try this, mine gets a bit slow on the Home Screen sometimes whilst changing from screen to screen
Always leave at least 10% of your storage free, over filling storage is probably one most people over look but it can impact performance
THIS HELPED ALOT INSTANT PERFORMANCE INCREASE BOTH ON NETWORK SPEEDS MENU SPEEDS AND GAME SPEEDS
Restarting the console always works for me. If my headphones are not connected properly because I was constantly switching between Bluetooth devices. Update them in the accessories app and it will fix it. Also if a controller bumper stops working because of dust, instead of opening it try first holding down the aim or shoot and blow under the bumper. That always works for me
@@dorianceja9053 sorry, I use the wireless xbox headphones. But you can use them on the xbox and a phone on discord at the same time and I change between devices to watch videos
Ok and tinker man did you reply to me or him bc my notifications said you reply to me
They need to do an actual update for these new consoles.. Especially in terms of UI.
just smashed mine with a hammer now it’s running as good as new only problem is damn bugger got split in pieces 🤯🤣
I will try this
Hopefully the I don’t need to do what happened at the end of the vid 😂
Or also cleaning it out (opening the case up and using a air compressor to blow out dust) being dust is clogging it up and heating it up.
If you unplug the Xbox I’m pretty sure nothing works without power it’s pointless😭💀
One man's trash is another man's treasure.
The last idea seems to be the only real way to resolve that issue really 😂
Thank you so much my Xbox was lagging and wasn’t letting me use the menu I tried both of the methods and they worked life saver!
yhe wacky endings are great mick
Thanks, actually added this after making the whole video. It was like adding salt to a meal so it was just right 👌
Thank you bro you save my game now I can play 2K
How exactly does it "clear the cache" if there's absolutely NO POWER going to it?
I miss when holding the Home button and selecting "Restart Console" actually did it.
The capacitors inside your console retain a small amount of power for the cache even if not plugged it, holding the power button drains them
ah yes, thank you for telling me how to restart. great tutorial nobody would've known how to do this
I didnt know how to do it for about a year so yeah, it could be useful for some people smartass.
Thanks the first one worked.
The last option worked best thanks!
No it didn't don't lie. Pulling the power cable out and holding the power button for 30 seconds doesn't do anything. The damn thing doesn't have any power going to it
You hold down the button for 5 seconds and then you unplug for 30 seconds. You don't need to hold the button for 30 seconds again
Thanks mate👍
Thanks, my Xbox was acting up so I threw it away and it works fine now!
You can do a full reboot from the guide, too. Either hold the Xbox button until it shows "Restart", or open guide, go to profile, then power, then select "Restart".
How does it clear the cache when it has no power for anything to work?
I dont know the full technical explination on this one sorry, but I know the capacitors store power even after you shut the device down. Unplugging and then holding the power button drains those capacitors of any remaining power. I would assume the xbox stores the cache in a temporary space that clears when there is absolutely no power running through the device. This is my basic understanding of it but hopefully someone a bit more qualified can provide a full and accurate explination of exactly what's occuring during this process.
@@TinkerManMick wait so you're saying that the same can be done by keeping it unplugged until the capacitors power down? (i know that would take longer, but it's still an option)
@@theinfamousoogabooga1749 well if you didn't know, that would be the case, since capacitors are just tiny batteries
Cache is a type of memory that can only store data as long as it has power. As @Tinker Man Mick said, there are likely capacitors in the Xbox that power the cache even after the console is off. Holding the power button will drain these capacitors.
Solution #3 saved my gaming life
It’s probably more likely to be dust
@@martin.k240 dust often causes overheating and overheating slows down computers.
@@Toby-Wan-Kenobi not true, sorta, overheating causes thermal throttling of the cpu, this will only effect in-game performance, it doesn't affect the hdd/ssd at all
@@martin.k240 overheating can also cause issues with storage devices.
@@Toby-Wan-Kenobi a tech youtuber recently did a video testing this, storage usually doesn't lose any performance even under very high temps
The bin solution worked, tried it on a friends xbox
You know you're poor when you hear someone say "if your Xbox" ,you quickly look and they are talking about the next generation and you about to pull out your 360.😞
Cleaning the fan is also always a good shot because shit slows down when it’s overheating cause the fans full of dust
I got a question what if ur Xbox is not connecting to the internet it’s really laggy and slow cause my Xbox is have this issue
Every time I turn my Xbox on it ends up saying to connect to the internet
Im willing to donate my series x instead of throwing it in the bin 😅
Thank you so much! I thought I needed a new Xbox😂
I'm trying to get some "cash" lol
My Xbox series x has a problem where for a few days it’s laggy and horrible to play with, and the next few it’s perfectly fine. It’s been in this cycle since I got it and I have no clue what to do. Any ideas?
_Definitely a pillow under that trashbag_
Source: trust me bro
How does the Xbox clear the cache of it doesn’t have any power??
🤣😂🤣 yes! Toss it out..
I pulled it straight bak out, said sorry and gave it a cuddle. It still works 😬
Thank you this helped so much
It is a little bit slow, main menu takes a bit to load in and games are all lagging. If this does not work, is there any other solution?
Why am i watching this
I dont even have an xbox
What is my life
I am tired
I should go to sleep
I am in your walls
Big juicy truck
Aaaaaaa
I enjoy not being a murderer
I am in love with the way you say cache no hate😄
damn this guy has one serious australian accent
Thank you this really worked
Who actually doesn't know this
This is IT 101
Clear cache more like discharge capacitors keeping any certain components on really, and if it still don't work you can still use it for scrap parts or a local electronics repair shop can give it a look.
"Funny buggers" 😁
That you good sir, it's because of you that "Funny buggars" is now a part of my vocabulary
Thro the bluddy thing in the bin 😂😂
That last part was funny 😂
Bro thank you I though I needed a new Xbox ❤❤
You can also factory rest the console. A lot of times the console will run slow because of game update bugs..
This worked for me my game is running smooth as ever
My Xbox 1 s has been running so slow and laggy lately mainly when i play warzone. I just upgraded to fiberoptic so it’s not my Internet. I went from 1.05mbps upload to 38mbps so my internet is not the problem. I have hard wired it to the modem and it still doesn’t help. Any ideas on what I should do? But the new Xbox rite?
Did not expect that ending!!😂😂😂
Playstation 5: your data is corrupted
My xbox series x isn't slow or anything but it's just kept neatly under a dust proof cover
I love how I'm watching these console videos yet I don't even own one lol
It will clear the kaysh?
Thanks so much it worked ❤❤❤
But the powers gone on it so holding it for thirty seconds isn’t gonna do anything bc it doesn’t have enough residual electricity in the console
how does that second one make sense? i get that the third one is a joke but the second one got me confused
Should I hold the power button down for 10 seconds when it’s still on or should it be off?
Can you tell how my controller stopped working when I put it in water and then all the sudden it just started to work with no problem???
Ive had my xbox 1 s for 6 years got it for Christmas with the free old Minecraft edition added on it already and it never had any issues
Bro my xbox wont work at all i have done everything and wtched every video and its still freezes while factory resetting it to what do i do😢
This man is the DankPods of consoles lmao
Still got the OG Xbox one, stayin strong💪
I feel violated...
Where is the “okay Champions” ??? 😭
Do we mean so little? 😔
I might give this a try again one day. Last time I did this was last year in June so it's been a year, not to mention that my loading times are slower and sometimes launching Rocket League is a hassle.
*I have a Xbox One S All Digital*
I have the disk version and everything is very fast for me. Basically no load times on games or apps. I kinda like it tbh
Hey Mick! Recently I have been having an issue with the new Xbox (Series X or whatever), where the WiFi struggles and Xbox Live randomly shuts off even though I have tested my WiFi and it's working fine? Is this what these solutions help fix? If not, do you know any ways I can fix this?
-Thanks, Bubby850
I try this to fix my corsair keyboard but ESC key would be the power button, power on/off also required as you unplug it as well.
Question how can the Xbox detect if your pressing the power button if there is no power running to it?
That last tip had me dying
Why would it clear the cache by holding the Xbox button down after you've unplugged the power cable? Surely it needs to be turned on to clear the cache? 🤔
Thank you, 3rd method really helped me out
Now Im a proud owner of the Ps5
Glad mines the complete opposite of slow and laggy 😅
My Xbox one can't read xbox 1 discs, It works Great with 360 discs, do you know what I could do to fix this
My Xbox kept going into suffocation mode and just boot looping how can I fix it
mate I hate a question, so you pull the power cord out and THEN clear the cache?? how does that work or is this some more funny buggr business
Does this work on an Xbox One too?
I tried 3rd option but still didnt helped. What should i do then?
Bro that helped me so much
I love the ending just for that I will sub
What is the point of holding the Xbox button after unplugging it? It’s not powered just wait a minute for the capacitors to empty lol
When you hold the power button down for 10 sec to fully shut it down, is it supposed to turn of instantly as i start holding the button? Mine does and i see yours doesn’t
Bro I need help my Xbox one is extremely slow I've done everything even factory reset didn't work if I attempt to open the Xbox menu by pressing the Xbox button on my controller it'll open the menu and then freeze then I'm still able to close it but if I try to open it again it'll open how I last closed it and it stays frozen and I can only install one game if I dare to install another it'll get stuck downloading and I can't cancel the installment even restarting takes a extremely long time
Everyone is talking about how helpful this is but what about the fact he just yeeted his Xbox into the trash LOL great job
Hey I have a question my series x has been freezing and crashing on almost every game I play so you have a solution I have hard reset it and I have cleared the cache nothing seems to work
Does the first one delete anything?
Doesnt the full shutdown clear the "caaaaiiiish"?
The same goes to PS4. If u find it takes longer to load/slower response time hold the power from full power off til it beeps twice (once when it turns on, then it'll beep again to tell u it worked), you will need to plug in a USB cord, then just rebuild database. If ur lazy u could also just unplug the console when it's on and it'll rebuild database, tho it's not recommended
Holding the button down for 10 seconds clears the cache so you wouldn't have to unplug it and hold the power button
Microsoft slows old consoles down to a snail crawl. To get you to buy the new console right away🤙
No Xbox's were harmed in the making of this video..
I hope that there was a cushion in that bin before you grew your SERIES X in the bin
Bro if it’s slow and laggy, it’s an internet issue not a power button issue
@huxtabl8 it's a membership badge for channel members 😀
@@acegamer476 it can be an internet issue, or it could have problems in the Xbox, which this fixes
you said cache wrong.
