VC‘s positives for League can‘t be compared to shooter games because League is a MOBA. For example if I wanted Ori to give me the ball as J4 I‘d ping help on her and then omw, or if I were the Ori I could ping omw on J4 and then on the enemy team. But even aside from this, at some point we have to hold each player responsible for their own decisions instead of serving them each information on a silver platter or even micromanaging them. I mean if an Ori midlaner does not ball a J4 5 man engage then I‘d argue it is not Riot‘s fault for not introducing VC that the Ori did not do it but we should also put some blame on the Ori and recognize that it‘s fine because if a player doesn‘t understand that specific play then he/she does not belong above a certain rank. Going further even maybe it was the right play to not 5 man ult in this specific scenario which the Ori recognized and maybe protecting the ADC from death was more important in that situation because Ori might have been 4 Levels behind and did no dmg at all or whatever but in any case I believe that we should all adopt the philosophy that in Soloq each and every player should have the freedom to play their champion as they would see most fit.

One commonly over-looked aspect is how your account gets blacklisted if you have too many reports on it. I used to be really toxic a few years back and I was chat banned more often than I wasn't. Nowadays, I'm perma stuck at honor level 0 because if I type literally anything in the chat and someone reports me I get hit with another chat ban because I have a history of getting mass reported. Why riot punishes for chat The reason riot has written chat, and refuse to implement voice chat, is for monetary gain. I’ll explain: Let’s say for instance, you have been playing league of legends for 12 years, you own all the champions in the game, and thus, have zero reason to even spend money on a champion ever again. Then let’s assume 70 percent of riots players base, are in this boat. This is a problem for riot, because they want consistent income. So, what do they do to get players who stop spending money, to spend money again? Maybe spent thousands of dollars dedicated to understanding player behavior, then create a system that heavily punishes players… not for trolling, but for typing. Players who are more likely to type, are competitive players who care about the game, while the casual player who is most likely just trolling, doesn’t care about winning or losing. This directly focuses on targeting the veteran player base. Riot likes trolls, because trolls create the environment needed for riot to force competitive players to spend money again. Riot figured out that, by using chat to punish, they could eventually over time give losers que to players who own a lot of champions. This was in the hopes that the player would type, and as a result get their account banned. But this was riots goal all along, because by banning the accounts of veteran players, riot knows that players are most likely addicted to league and will get another account, and then repurchase the champions and skins they previously had. So now, a player that had stopped spending money because they owned the champions they wanted, is now spending money again. The entire reason riot has written chat and chat punishments, and refuses to add voice comms, is because they can’t track player behavior as easily, they wouldn’t be able to issue out these punishments as effectively in order to target specific players. Riot doesn’t care about fixing toxicity at all, they don’t care if we curse either, they care about money. Making the game M rated would remove the need to have most of these punishment systems in place, and allow players to be human. Simply doing that would remove most of the toxicity caused by the punishment system. The punishment system creates the trolls via making addicted players feel trapped, with nothing else to lose.

I just don't want voice comms cause it would make Shaco worse :D
mate, if you ever played games where they have voice comms, you know that it takes a special person to flame over the mic, generally those ppl who flame over text never have the courage to say it over voice comms, generally voice comms are way less toxic
I did have a very positive experience in R6S. CoD on the other hand...
Tbh, I personally don't think it'd be that bad in League, but lots of people have different levels of tolerance for voice chat clutter
I clicked cause I thought you were Rav
New level of clickbait
How is it clickbait? The video discussed exactly what was in the title. The only person who's at fault is you for being unable to read.
As a female gamer who suffered through COD, I definitely would not use my mic at all, all it takes is one bad egg to spoil it unfortunately
xdddd hablas español? xddddd
Hablo, pero no mucho :^)
