Charlie, I love your video so much, I never been there, it’s quite incredible and amazing this urban touch, thanks for your footprints and Nicolas too, I can’t wait for your next film🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Great video Charlie! Love walking through the market as it reminds me of the markets in Montreal, Toronto & specifically Hungary. The first item you asked Nick about what it was, I immediately said tripe. Man, that stuff stinks. Lol Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks so much for watching! I'm a huge fan of wandering open air markets in nearly every country I visit. It's an excellent opportunity to experience local culture first hand. Apparently, the San José Central Market is busiest in the middle of the day on the weekends - would have been better to be there at full capacity. Next time! And I can confirm - that tripe was...rough.
Thank you! Nicholas handled himself impressively well as we navigated the urban landscape of San José. It's an intense experience, that's for sure. Important to observe the nuances of daily life in a sprawling city, when you live on a tiny island. I do a fair bit of writing on my blog: gallantfish.com/blog/
Awesome video as always. I could never go there, i have anxiety when in close and very busy places. To many people for me but very interesting. Love your videos Charlie. Please keep up the great work. ❤😮❤
Thanks so much! It is certainly "tight quarters" in there. I really appreciate you watching our journey into the market - I wanted Nicholas to experience a bit of the urban scene while observing different walks of life. Central American markets certainly have a way of inspiring gratitude for the conveniences of life in the US.

Saw some cute dresses for Stanz girls 🎉
We did find some wonderful treasures for Sadie and Claire. I strive to bring them artifacts from each one of my expeditions.
