I am from Dewsbury, a few miles to the south east of Bradford, a much smaller town than Bradford but likewise a former basically working class textile area and today with similar problems. I was born in 1946 and worked in Bradford from 1962 until 1966 and I could see how things were going to turn out even then. For most of my adult life I have lived in London but I used to visit West Yorkshire quite regularly as I still had family in Dewsbury, Bradford and Huddersfield. All my relatives are now deceased and I haven't been to West Yorkshire for almost twenty years. But I don't think I am missing much.

@English Patriot It was only yesterday that I watched a YT video of a walking tour of Bradford City centre. Hardly any people you could say were typically English from their clothes. From the audio picked up as the camera passed groups on the streets, English was hardly heard. If it was n't for the vehicles, road signs and building architecture, you would think it was filmed in a run down foreign location.

The problem is that all of these people in public office have immediate and unlimited access to the law via the State's resources. The victims of this abuse have no recourse to the law other than support from charities. So the problem of CSE continues. I say again, until a Chief Constable is held responsible and accountable for a multitude of organisational and institutional failings nothing is going to change. @@SunofYork No, it is you that is attempting to stretch the analogy beyond breaking point. Specify the local government policies in relation to CSE that do not work.
      1. Child Protection. The police, social services, education authorities, health services will all have specific, measureable achievable responsibilites as outlined in job descriptions and Safeguarding criteria.
      2. Line management and accountability. This is in place to ensure that those charged with undertaking their duties as per their job descriptions do their job. Set procedures are in place to ensure that if not then this can be looked into and rectified. Sanctions being the ultimate and final course of action.
      3. All public servants working with children are duty bound to share information with appropriate professionals from other agencies should any cause for concern be identified.
In other words, there is a well structured set of procedures and policies in place to cover all eventualities, if followed correctly.
Clearly, in the case of CSE, this has not been going on, again for reasons which need explaining. Ultimately, the responsibility rests with the most senior member of whichever body has failed to follow proper procedure. This matter is a legal responsibility.

This was in broad daylight at rush hour and no one who was around said or did anything. The number of people around the area even then appearing to be of Pakistani origin was quite staggering. If 25% is the quoted population mix today has it been in decline since 1967? I worked at a school on the outskirts of Bradford in the early 1970's when it was still a recognisably 'Yorkshire' city and quite a safe and pleasant place to live at the time, although the signs of a 'foreign presence' were becoming increasingly apparent. The people with whom I kept in contact, however, had unfortunate stories to tell about its slide into an unpleasant islamic ghetto, the saddest part being the depressing effect on property prices which stopped them escaping to somewhere more congenial. And Bradfordian's story (below) reminds me of the appalling report from Bradford concerning an Asian man who decided to join a local church but consequently found himself on the wrong end of a vicious harassment campaign from his community, ending with a sledge hammer attack that left him with two smashed kneecaps - and all this despite his move to a safe house out of town for his protection. Allegedly, the police weren't much help and the reported response he got from a station sergeant when he asked for help - 'You shouldn't be behaving like a crusader' - wasn't exactly the sort of thing one would have expected from a conscientious British Officer of the Law if one had been brought up in the days of 'Dixon of Dock Green'. But then it seems that 'Dixon of Dock Green' and everything he stood for would be totally out of place in present day Bradford.

Firstly, Mr Webb, Keighley is pronounced "Keeth-ly".
Bradford was pleasant in the 70s, very lively and with good shops. Nowadays most people don't shop there, they go on to Halifax or Leeds.
I visited it four years ago and it's a run down mess, more like Kabul in some places than a Yorkshire city.
Some people call it "Bradistan" or "the Khaliphate". If you live there for a few months you will notice that there are two streams of people - white British and mostly Pakistani people. These two peoples live generally separate lives. Integration is not real there. I also noted that Indian and Sikh people greatly dislike Pakistani people. So racism is not confined to white people. The Pakistani people are not generally keen on English people either, but are happy to chase their daughters.
You will find that local police, councilors and journalists are cowards who avoid anything "difficult" and just want to collect their salaries.

Simon, may I make a couple of points? I have driven through Bradford a few times over the past couple of years, and I'd like to state that the city is definitely not diverse; it is virtually a monoculture. It is rare to see anything other than people whose origins are in the Islamic areas of the Indian subcontinent.
Secondly, I have no idea about whether the claims made for the city's crime statistics are true, or not. I can safely say though that it is quite possibly the most rubbish-strewn place in the UK. The streets are an absolute disgrace and make the area the most visually unappealing community I have ever had the misfortune to pass through. I wonder whether the senior Police Officer you quote chooses to live there.

All the houses looked similar to that built in other parts of the north, but they were significantly more run down and clesrly uncared for. There was trash on the streets and front lawns and public greenery was overgrown and neglected. Most surprisingly, on one street I saw actual chickens roaming freely - something I have only seen in Africa. The whole place was very unwelcoming and even going to the shops felt dangerous. Witness the strange juxtaposition of brown-faced people wearing their traditional clothing amid the rain-washed stone and red brick terraces. To answer or hypothesise an answer that question can be dangerous. I think it's driven primarily by the malice of those who drive these changes due to longstanding grievance against the majority culture, the weaponisation of mass media/education and a dereliction of the host culture's responsiblity to defend it's own way of life because it can be bought off with increasing asset prices as long as they live in another suburb and also fear of being labelled heretics. The boiling water and frog analogy is apt too - it happens gradually but within a generation the changes are monumental.

He said they spent a day in Bradford and did not see a white face. He was shown the steel containers where the fights take place for bets to be placed. Diverse fights ~ dog on dog, dog on cat, dog on badger, dog on fox and the one that surprised me most, dog on man. Unfamiliar with this sport I asked if the man has forearm guards. No, he goes in with just a T-shirt. Such are the sporting pursuits of the non-indigenous demographic of Bradford. Cultural enrichment?

As a Bradfordian I can personally tell you it has become more dangerous, I have been attacked twice in the last two years, once by an individual Muslim, and once by a group of about 8 Muslim youths about 16 years old, they threw bricks, eggs and bottles at me, one then kicked me from behind, they attacked whilst I was simply walking alone minding my own business, when I got to my home the back window was immediately put through, I rang the police, when they came I told them I would gladly get into the car with them and go back to identify them, the police refused this offer saying it wasn't wise as they couldn't protect me, if the youths happened to see me and the car got surrounded, I was gobsmacked by this cowardice.

When will we in this country, ie, our Politicians, the MSM, and various social commentators, be prepared to discuss the impact of mass immigration, and specifically the consequences on our nation and its way of life, when the bulk of said immigration is coming from countries that share neither our culture or our values. Is the refusal to have such a discussion down to the fact that, as places like Bradford prove, it has been a disaster. Are they wilfully blind, afraid of being condemned as racist,( that word that seems to arouse terror in so many), or is it down to the fact that they, secure in their own little bubbles, do not have to deal with the reality of this 'cultural enrichment'. I am a Londoner, and my city too has been changed beyond recognition by immigrants. Oh yes, the posh areas remain largely untouched, or the leafy, outer Boroughs, the sort of places where immigrants are not likely to end up due to the cost of the housing. They remain like an oasis of calm, populated by the fortunate few, while the rest of us are obliged to exist in an increasingly violent, dirty, hellhole. Why is my beloved London, or Bradford, now so degraded, what is it that has brought about this disastrous state of affairs. One word, immigration. Yes, I name it, immigration is responsible, both here in Britain, and in other western nations. We are inviting in the people of the 3rd world, and those people are bringing all their cultural and religious baggage along for the ride. Literally recreating the very same, and obviously failed society that they escaped from in the first place. We really are apparently intent on self destruction, European civilization bringing the curtain down. A tragedy happening before our own eyes.

Easy to answer. Just walk up Manningham Lane. Cross the road and head down Lumb Lane. You will be followed until you get out of the Sharia held area...

@@itsMe_TheHerpes I think you will find that Bradford is the problem. I left there years ago. No doubt you live in some tiny hamlet where muslims don't exist. Every morning you internally blank news of stabbings or religious teachers been sacked for teaching. and sit there sipping your Earl Grey tut tutting at the racists.

For 40 years ive been attending a Church in Bradford right in the middle of a 95% Pakistani community and in all that time we have had zero vandalism not even one broken window . The door to the community centre is usually left unlocked during the day and no problems whatsoever . Just another side to the debate from someone on the ground .

The man in this video and every single person in this comment section has literally never lived in Bradford. Speaking from living here all my life, I haven't experienced a single threatening thing. Though, whereabouts people visit/live in the city makes this topic subjective. Honestly I think this was just an opportunity for closeted racists to throw in their "opinions" to rid themselves of ethnic minorities. They can cry about it. Ironically, hiding away in this 64k viewed video proves them to be the sad minority.

Look up Ray Honeyford. As someone who lives not too far from Keighley, all I can say is that Bradford consists of the following; Eastern European-origin people, Indian subcontinent-origin people, and white British. I will say that Bradford has some really nice pubs if you know your way around, but this is in itself a challenge due to poor urban planning. Another feature people may find of interest is the quality of building work, which is significantly lower than that of the surrounding areas. Planning permission also seems to be lax and there are some nice houses which look incredibly drab due to the poor upkeep by the inhabitants.

that lack of upkeep seems to be the Asian way--even in Canada---nearly all Chinese owned homes--worth a million dollars or more, yet with dirty siding/scurb gardens/cracked driveways nothing spent on upkeep/cleaning/beautification---in many countries they would be worth zero/teardowns except for the land.

I am English born and bred and my family from what I can see, have been in the southwest for 400 years I remember the North as " muck and brass" great people 👍 with a fantastic history. Today I see the muck caused by the non - indigenous, the problems and garbage they have brought with. I am glad I live no were near this problem..from what I see the police and councils need to get their act together.

Asian Grooming Gangs.....no they are Pakistani/Bengali Muslims. There was a case in Huddersfield where they had a Sikh fresh immigratant in the gang. The Sikhs found him, made him renounce his religion, cut off his hair and give up his turban (big insult to him)
Oh and then they kicked the shit out of him. Our Sikh girls have been abused by these lot for decades. Sher Punjab a Sikh organisation has been handing out justice to them for years because the police and local authorities will not.
